Just think about that. The odds are still four times better than winning a Powerball jackpot.

In fairness the Powerball jackpot is a much better reward.

I was less than 18" from an ace just last week....closest I've ever been.

/usually can't even hit the green in one shot

I heard once that the odds of winning Powerball are the same odds of being attacked by a brown bear and a polar bear on the same day.

How did they calculate that?  Your odds of that on an executive course are a lot better than on a championship course.

I think it would be next-to-impossible to calculate "the odds" for a given person, due to all of the variables that would need to be addressed. On the extreme ends of the range of odds would be:

...playing the exact same easy par 2/3 course for 38 years 4 times a day every day.

...playing on a random championship-level course, once every 3 years over the course of 38 years.

Article is fake.  Women can't make holes-in-one.

There's a par 3 at my local course that just has my number. 144-160 yards. Guarded by 3 bunkers in front. Big hill in the back. Pond to the left. Anyone with halfway decent club selection can hit it. Damn green is huge.

It's my nemesis. It's gotten into my head. I have nightmares about it. I hit a nice easy club, I yank left into a pond. Or I skull it over onto the hill. I club down and try to play short..right into the bunkers.

So fark this lady and her two Hole in Ones.

Yeah from the ladies tees

I've holed out from 40 yards before. Where's my prize?

A 78-year-old Tennessee man named Earl Dietering once scored two aces in a single round. Even more impressive, John Hudson of England in the second round of the 1971 Martini International Tournament, scored two consecutive holes-in-one, on the Par 3 11th and Par 4 12th (thus a double eagle) holes. There have also been cases of two different players scoring holes-in-one at the same hole in the same round.

Math fail. The odds are 50/50: either she makes it or she doesn't.

Kin Jong-il had 11 in one round

gerbilpox: Math fail. The odds are 50/50: either she makes it or she doesn't.

And there's a 25% chance of that happening.

I'm guessing this is the same oddsmakers creationists use when they tell you the odds of life arising "by accident".

/Just bust Han Solo out on anyone who tries that.

I got two holes in one on my birthday last week, playing a round with my girlfriend.

Allison's Mini Golf. Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio. Boo. Yah.

what about one in the hole?

I have seen internets pictures with two in the hole!

Must be an executive course.  Everyone knows women can't drive.

I have one hole-in-one, and it took me 15 years to get.

It was at Black Rock GC in Hagerstown, MD.

Hole #2, which is a 115 yard par 3.

It was the worst shot I hit all day.  Hit a pitching wedge that never got more than 30 feet off of the ground.  Ball hit the green and skidded almost to a stop before plopping into the hole.

The best part. . .I was golfing with my brothers and dad.

That was almost 20 years ago, and I am still waiting on #2.
2014-07-31 06:37:17 PM
Still haven't had one in 22 years.  Closest I have gotten, first ball in the water, 3rd shot in the hole......holed out for par.
2014-07-31 09:28:36 PM
The very first round of golf I ever played I got within 10 inches from the pin on a par 3...I thought, gee, golf is pretty easy!
It took me 25 years to ever get even that close again.
Still no hole-in-one.

Broktun:  I am still waiting on #2.

You sound constipated.

She was due.

Well done.  Congratulations, golf lady.

It's nice she isn't too young to grip the shaft and fondle the ball

Banned on the Run: Article is fake.  Women can't make holes-in-one.

My mom just learned she's going to have to have both breasts removed..... If she wants to e any good at golf.
