I can't wait until every court dismisses this lawsuit.

2014-07-30 07:12:52 PM
WTF?  225 to 201?  That means at least 18 Democrats crossed the aisle on this.  THIS.  Those grabasstic jackwagons can't even get their shiat together for something as inane as this.

<shakes head>  What a bunch of stupid, weak motherfarkers.

They want the people to get sick of the republican retard show just in time for the midterms.

I heard that if Obama loses this lawsuit, the House will be put in charge of the US budget.

God help us.

The vote to sue Obama was 225 to 201. Five conservative Republicans voted with Democrats in opposing the lawsuit: Reps. Paul Broun of Georgia, Scott Garrett of New Jersey, Walter Jones of North Carolina, Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Steve Stockman of Texas. No Democrats voted for it.

I apologive.  I went and looked for the numbers of Democrats and Republicans in the current congress, and didm;t realize I was looking at the info from the 110th.  That Congress had 225 Republicans in the House.

Mea culpa.

/But the Democrats are still weak, and having a really hard time getting their collective shiat together

2014-07-30 07:36:23 PM
Begun the stupid and futile guesture has.

2014-07-30 07:37:21 PM
Holy shiat. At least 225 people in Congress were more ignorant than Paul Broun

2014-07-30 07:38:18 PM
Please...

Proceed.

I'll probably get another 30-50 more fundraising emails by midnight. It's the end of the month anyway.

2014-07-30 07:38:42 PM
Why do you need to vote to sue someone?  That makes no sense.

you are a puppet: Holy shiat. At least 225 people in Congress were more ignorant than Paul Broun

And Steve Stockman.

"...to file suit in federal court on behalf of the full body "to seek appropriate relief" for Obama's failure to enforce a provision of the Affordable Care Act that would penalize businesses that do not offer basic health insurance to their employees."

Does this mean I can sue cops who don't give me speeding tickets?

2014-07-30 07:41:00 PM
This is farking awesome!

2014-07-30 07:41:10 PM
Boehner.  My man.  This isn't going to appease your base.

They want impeachment, not wasting time and dragging your feet.

2014-07-30 07:41:22 PM
And WHEN he loses, he has to ride around town on a sparkly pink segway wearing a T-shirt that says 'FART' on it.

Trailblazing a first-of-its-kind, unprecedented lawsuit against a sitting president doesn't seem very conservative.

Where in the Constitution is this laid out?

2014-07-30 07:41:53 PM
So the Republicans are upset Obama is not enforcing a resolution that they are against?

Wow, an actual reason to be proud(ish) of my Congressman.

/Not that I voted for him

2014-07-30 07:42:10 PM
This is some of the most retarded, pants on head, sock-puppet show shiat the gophadists have pulled since... well, since last week or so, approximately.

Put down the tea bong, step away from the Palin channel and join the rest of us in an era where mankind knows how to use metallurgy and maths.

2014-07-30 07:42:35 PM
November's election could further exacerbate tensions in Washington, especially if Republicans - who already hold the House - gain control of the Senate. They need a net gain of six seats to do so.

Shiiiiat. I mean, what's happened to this farking country?

/Bueller?

Yup. I got one from the DNC, one from Obama, one from E-Dubs and one from the Tea Party list serve I signed up for lulz.

This is a remarkably stupid thing that should be swatted down by every court.   Meanwhile I'll have coworkers with a hard on for days over this.

What are you talking about? Zero Democrats voted for this.

2014-07-30 07:44:00 PM
When you fill Congress with lawyers this was bound to eventually happen.

2014-07-30 07:44:07 PM
...When he unveiled the suit, Boehner insisted it was about more than just Obama. "This isn't about Republicans and Democrats. It's about defending the Constitution that we swore an oath to uphold, and acting decisively when it may be compromised," Boehner said Wednesday.

Well I guess there's a first time for everything, you corksoaking piece of shiat

Only if you vote on it first.

2014-07-30 07:44:35 PM
I'd love ANY explanation of how the House, or Boehner, has standing to sue Obama about anything.

Corvus: So the Republicans are upset Obama is not enforcing a resolution that they are against?

No, they're upset that he is black and/or a Democrat.

I can see how this would get the base jazzed up, but since nearly every Republican representative voted for this, the entire Republican party is responsible for it.  When a judge throws this lawsuit away for being stupid, he will be calling the entire party stupid. They won't be able to blame it on an overzealous Speaker. How is this going to end well for Republicans in the eyes of the general populace?

Jaden Smith First of His Name: Trailblazing a first-of-its-kind, unprecedented lawsuit against a sitting president doesn't seem very conservative.

It's in the secret clauses of the constitution. It also states that should the president lose this lawsuit then the former governor of the second to last state admitted into the Union shall become President for the remainder of the majority party's control on the House of Representatives

2014-07-30 07:46:45 PM
Seriously - in what universe does the House of Representatives have standing to sue Obama about delaying the Employer Mandate? I mean...what?

It isn't. There is no precedent, nor any applicable Law in the Constitution. This is a cheap stunt to boost campaign fund profits and provide something to campaign on for next November. It has no real purpose other than to harvest campaign cash.

They need control of the government to get rid of those liberal activist judges who would do that.

Hopefully he can bill back the legal fees when this is all dismissed.

2014-07-30 07:47:35 PM
You can sue a ham sandwich but that doesn't mean you actually have a point.

Now...what entity is doing the sueing here? If there's a countersuit....who's putting their bucks on the line?
Who's name is on the paper? That sues? Wouldn't they be responsible for court cost and counter suit?

2014-07-30 07:47:38 PM
Obviously this talk about Obama being sued was created by Obama.

2014-07-30 07:47:38 PM
Don't you have to show you were harmed in some sort of way to file a lawsuit?
