Tough call- it's hard to keep from shooting "Comcast" employee's.  Seems "The Consumerst" had them listed as winners of the Golden Poo award twice,,,,

Shooting Comcast employees at a reasonable rate is not only perfectly acceptable, it should be encouraged as part of a sponsored cull program.

The crazy thing is that in this one case it may be true, because it was the police report that identified it as a Glock and not some speculating witness or reporter.

Take it up with the people who deserves it.

I'm one of those guys the right would probably call a gun grabber.  I can't stand the way these idiots brandish their guns in the most inane and inappropriate times and inevitably hurt someone. That said, the gun was pulled on someone from Comcast...so I dunno.

What I don't get is why they specify the brand in reporting. "A pistol and ammo". Accurate enough to not summon the journalist guide.

The people who come out haven't been too bad, but I've heard they're usually contractors.

It's the actual service that breaks all the time, the prices which keep going up all the time, the inevitable loss of channels which you used to get and stupid farking customer service people which made me hate them and go with DSL instead.

Also, I should ask Netflix if I can get a discount because they're not paying my ISP like Comcast or AT&T

I hate to break it to you, but a lot of cops, especially uniformed cops, are dumb as a mud fence. And a minority of them are gun nuts who actually care about pistol brands. It was probably a polymer-framed, semi-automatic pistol, but that describes about 80 percent of the civilian gun market these days.

Not that it matters. The worst kind of gun nut is the kind who gets butthurt about particular guns being slandered, and getting their widdle gun feelings hurt.

"

Unanticipated Comcast fees made one Albuquerque woman so angry she pulled a gun on a worker for the cable company, according to a criminal complaint filed in Metropolitan Court.
Gloria Baca-Lucero, 48, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon Monday and booked into jail. She was released later that day.
Police say a Comcast serviceman went to do work in Baca-Lucero's house near San Pedro and San Antonio in the Northeast Heights on Monday, according to the complaint. Baca-Lucero said she thought the work would be free, but the worker told her there would be a fee. She called customer service, and someone on that line also told her she had to pay.
The worker then told her if she didn't sign for the fee he would leave. She refused to pay, and the worker told police as he was loading tools into his vehicle, Baca-Lucero grabbed one of his tool bags and took it inside her house.
When the worker went to get it, he said she told him he couldn't have his tools back and pulled out a black handgun from her pocket, pointing at his torso, the complaint states.
The worker told police he put his hands up because he "didn't want to get shot," and left the property before calling 911.
Baca-Lucero told police he left the tools and she took them inside, and wouldn't give them back to him when he returned. When the worker refused to leave, she pointed the gun in the air. He left, and she then also called police, the complaint states.
When police searched her home, they found a black Glock, along with a Glock magazine and 11 rounds. They also found the tool bag, according to the court document.

Comcast has actually been good in my local area, but I've heard so many other horror stories. Like any big nationwide company they seem to be a crapshoot. There just seems to be no high-level attempt to keep customers happy. They really need to learn the Amazon way of making sure customers are happy first, because if you have really happy customer, you can get away with a LOT without there being a big outcry. Paying off politicians only goes so far.

Once you've had DirecTV, going back to Comcrap is a huge letdown.  (I had to go back to Comcrap because I just moved into an apartment that faces north...gr...).  Cost is outrageous, service is mediocre at best (what's with my cable box rebooting at random times throughout the night?), and customer service stinks.  Always having to power-cycle the modem to get the internet to work.... ugh.  DirecTV FTW.

That dude really wanted the tools.  I would've have said, "fark it", left and called the police.  They probably belong to the company anyway.

Comcast told my girlfriend that her cable/tv would be swapped from her apartment to her new house on sunday
they shut off her Internet on Friday and aren't getting her set up at her new place until Thursday.

They have in the past scheduled a 4 hour window for service at my house, only to not show up at all.
They continually mess with my rates and what channels I'm entitled to receive.
I get maybe 2/3 of the advertised internet speed

they are filthy, scum, liars and I can completely understand why pulling a gun on them might seem a reasonable thing to do.
