It's a timing issue.  Would have been more apropos back at the beginning of the year.  Many/most of the quotes are from 'Waiting for Godot', which was on Broadway at the beginning of the year, starring these guys:

Everything?

Maybe it's different for Beckett fans. For me it was random quotes paired with random cat pictures.

Meh.

I really really really hope they recorded one of those shows for posterity. I'd would have loved to have been there.

I mean, I know they're classically trained, but why? Why put on that boring Dada crap when they could have done something, anything else?

Ah, Sam Beckett.  The ravings of a madman passed off as "art."

Seriously, read any Beckett play and tell me he wasn't just mentally insane.

Cuz this:

Have you not done tormenting me with your accursed time! It's abominable! When! When! One day, is that not enough for you, one day he went dumb, one day I went blind, one day we'll go deaf, one day we were born, one day we shall die, the same day, the same second, is that not enough for you? (Calmer.) They give birth astride of a grave, the light gleams an instant, then it's night once more. (He jerks the rope.) On!

Is that not enough for you?
