Lincoln would still be alive if Ford hadn't tried to hide how dangerous it was and recalled it.

"WPRI reports that Stack has a history with the Lastarza family going back to 2012, when Stack assaulted Lastarza's son, also named Daniel, with what the victim described as 'some kind of stapler.'"

Normally you're killed by a Ford Explorer, so this is progress I guess.

Some guy told me Ford was the explorer who found the penguins in the arctic.

Bunch of mercenary tow truck drivers get into a fight and one dies?  ...nothing of value was lost.

Snarfangel: Lincoln would still be alive if Ford hadn't tried to hide how dangerous it was and recalled it.

"It was then that he ran into Lastarza and, in a confrontation that spilled out into the streets, was brained by Lastarza with the piece of lumber."

Now, this is the first time I've seen in "journalism" the use of the word brained in its elite verb form.
Only doge can explain how I feel right now:

People literally killing each other over scraps and junk.  With each passing day this country gets more like Lord of The Flies.

Yea I was coming in here to comment on 'brained' being used. Seems kinda tacky for the dead guy. Zombies are 'brained', not people.

I piece it together like this:  2012 the victim's truck is vandalized.  He suspects a rival tow truck company.  Lastarza's son works for the rivals, the victim tracks down the son and attacks him.  A grudge is born.   2014 the victim's company is tricked out of $400, he goes to the bar looking for the guy who took the money.  Lastarza is there at the bar.  Both guys are in no mood to be f'd with, but one guy is willing(probably due to alcohol) to take things to the limit.  One is killed.
