Men. I want to be sympathetic and listen to the reasons.... But nah, fark her. 2 years in prison seems to not fit the crime but I can't find it within me to care.

Typical woman.

Cry pity me while bleeding everything she can with every excuse she can to support her laziness.

Because "equality."

I had to Google 'bingo wings.'

I'm quite disappointed.

Two years in prison for defrauding the government out of $200,000 seems right to me

WHOA......

Karen Trant, 51, pocketed disability handouts for 13 years by claiming she could not leave her home by herself, travel alone or go to unfamiliar places.

Plymouth Crown Court heard the she spent up to five months a year in the Indian party resort of Goa where she bought her own £14,000 holiday apartment.

So, technically, Goa was not an unfamiliar place for her. And she probably wasn't alone at the beach since that picture is not a selfie...

Woof. Should've spent more of it on plastic surgery and less on vacations.

Yeah, I just try to avoid vengeance and think we should focus more on corporate and governmental thievery.

I doubt she's agoraphobic. I mean she could be but if so she's coping remarkably well.

Also you can get disability for agoraphobia?

Also, she managed to bullshiat the system and claim disability for a non-existent issue and I couldn't get disability for a genuine problem.

/hates the system

I would.  That is pure England hosebeast.

If I were her lawyer, I would go with the argument that the vacation was actually part of an elaborate attempt at therapy for her condition, forcing her out of the comfort of her home, to go thousands of miles away to someplace nice, in order to help imprint on her mind that not only is there nothing to be afraid of outside, but that it is actually kind of nice.

Probably because chronic masturbation isn't a genuine problem.

You either DNRTFA or are bad at math.

13 years, at 130,000 pounds.

10,000 pounds a year, which at todays rates is about $18K/year.

That's less than the US disability payments.

My mother, who has had a stroke and is totally disabled, is entitled to $2,300/month.  Which she has actually never claimed.

You aren't seeing it in that pic since TFA said something about her going in for surgery for it. Bingo wings is when someone develops a lot of fat or excess skin in the upper arms, specifically in the triceps area. This fat and skin hang down when you hold your arms out like so:

I always called those "teacher arms," because of the way you'd see flesh wiggle and bounce when a teacher wrote with chalk on the chalkboard. Said teacher would be wearing a light, short-sleeved dress because the room wouldn't be air-conditioned.

Feel you there. My wife has agoraphobia and she spends a lot of time hating life because if she actually tries to go anywhere, she gets physically debilitating panic attacks. Not quite sure what first triggered it, but she loathes not going anywhere. Best we're really able to do is get her to the grocery store from time to time, and even then we need to be ready to get home right away.

Not sure how this lady is getting as much as she is, but my wife barely gets anything for her disability. She's been trying to find online work for some time, but we haven't been able to figure out anything stable.

/agoraphobia sucks for everyone involved
//we don't get to go to conventions or out to dinner or anything anymore =(

Borderliner. Pathological liar, she's had lots of cosmetic surgery, but can't stand to be alone, and has trouble getting out of her routine and dealing with unfamiliar people. So she's based her lie on what is probably partly true--the best kind of liars, just like most borderliners.

That woman shouldn't have posted that photo regardless of her employment status. Consider a one piece swimsuit next time.

My GED in psychology says there's a big difference in being in a noisy crowded office vs. being in a relatively open and quiet beach. I've always self-diagnosed as agoraphobic because I hate the crowded noisy rooms (not enough that it keeps me from getting work done), but in a big empty beach the worst that can happen is I'll get a little bored.

I know agoraphobia technically includes fear of crowds and wide open spaces, but I'm not sure what the correct word is just for fear of crowds. If there isn't one, there should be.
