Is Kelly cute? Does anyone have a picture of her?

/What? Ha, like you guys didn't think that.

I once lived in Revere.  I hope my apartment got decimated in the tornado, because the owner/landlord was an asshole.

Subby, which Kelly's? The original or one of the franchises?

And the tornado hit a mile or so due west, near the 60/107 rotary.

/Meffa representing!

But Buzzy's Roast Beef is still dead. The real one by the old jail, I mean, not that clean imitation that opened in Central Square years later.

Did you live off Broadway between the Chelsea town line and city hall (maybe a bit farther?)?

I dunno, I'm not from Massachusetts. I would assume it's the original judging by the fact that the Globe even published this article.

When I moved to Boston that was one of the very few real food joints that was still open late. I ended up working at Little Stevie's House of Pizza for 8 years, I was bummed when Buzzy's closed.

It was a summer staple...mom and dad driving us down to Kelly's on Revere Beach to get expensive but oh so tasty deep fried clams...bellies and all.

and those tender meaty red roast beef sammiches.

Then soft serve up the street...cones piled about foot high.

Then swim it all off in that dirty water...

Sigh...

Santorini's is better, plus the last time I was at Santorini's two weeks ago, working at the counter there was this really cute twenty-something woman from some Eastern Block country. Long brown hair, blue eyes and a beach bunny's figure barely covered.

Fark Kelly's and their overpriced clam plates.

People are gonna stand tall for Al's on Taylor. No doubt, it's a classic and some good eatin'. But I'll go with Freddie's on 31st. With the hot giar. Amazing what a sandwich will say to you when you whisper sweet nuthins into its folds of beef & peppers. It loves me back every time, I swear.

Course when I need some REAL me-time, it's a pitcher, a regular classic breaded beef w/mozz & giar [kingsize is too much], and some sudoku at Ricobene's. Skip the sudoku if there's a game on. Life is good then.

/sorry for your troubles, Revere / Boston. Keep the beef up.
//yeah, I'm old & live alone. Ya noticed?

Ricobenes breaded steak sandwiches are awesome. It is a family tradition to have them on Christmas Eve. There are even a few roach coaches that re-sell them.

Beef on weck is on my bucket list of sandwiches to try.

It actually touched down on the the Chelsea/Revere line and headed north. Tore up the rotary I used to drive through every morning and blew out about 10 miles from my house (which is about 1000 miles too farking close).

/Kappy's is safe. So is Bunghole Liquors.

I frequent the Kelly's on Rt 1 (over by Target, yeah?), and am also a proponent of the lobster roll.

In other news, this is the Kelly's mascot...

Where was the Kelly's made out of an old Krispy Kreme?

Just south of Medford at the MBTA repair yard. Aka, the T stop with the never ending glass walkway.

The walkway's better than that half-assed monorail thingy it replaced...that HAD to have been someone's brother-in-law got that bid.  Farking thing broke down if it was too hot, too cold, too windy, or if teenagers rocked it back and forth...

Yep.  The wife works out in Acton (near Rt. 495) and they've had two tornado warnings this summer already.

/no, that ain't normal for Massachusetts

Now, the important stuff, the roast beef:  Kelly's is fine, but I'm a fan of Mikey's in Billerica.  Awesome curly fries.
