Trailltrader: And paying Ms. Palin for her words of wisdom is better than being forced advertising from the lamestream media how?Mr. Pot, the kettle is black. The question is do you want to pay by cash, or be forced to watch advertising?
Trailltrader: lamestream media
fusillade762: Trailltrader: lamestream mediaDRINK!
Gulper Eel: $9.95 a month? Only if she's drinking twice as much as Drew.
Mr. Coffee Nerves: At least it will be easy to tell the difference between what the (for now) paid staff writes and the catastrophic head trauma word salad she spews, you betcha.Whoever edits her work -- assuming there is such a person -- should be on danger pay for the next nine Olympics. It has to be like translating an unpublished novel Anthony Burgess wrote under ether via an Apple Newton to a Navajo speaker in a bathysphere at the bottom of the Marianas Trench who then sends it via African clicking language to a deaf mute working in an F5 hurricane atop a poorly-maintained flagpole. And then it goes on her AOL account.
MrsGsboy: Sarah Palin launches online subscription channel, believing people will page good money every month to read poorly written, illogical, baseless, alcohol-fueled opinions about the events of the daySilly me, I thought this was the rational behind TotalFark.
mr_a: Every current-events comedian will no doubt subscribe. And I think she is right about the decline of the Washington Post...probably the first and last time I'll ever agree with her.
Mugato: fusillade762: Trailltrader: lamestream mediaDRINK!I still don't know what that is supposed to mean.
cc_rider: With all these paid-subscription channels coming out, I wonder how long until the the Right-wing Noise Machine reaches peak derp?
asquian: One thing Sarah Palin is very good at, and I can easily admit this now matter how detestable I find the woman, is that she's very good at pandering to, and fleecing, her base. One would think it can't be that hard, considering that her base is a bunch of rubes who believe everything they're told, until you realize that in order for them to believe what they're told, you have to tell them only the things they want to hear. Nothing new, nothing factual, you can only ride the hard line of confirmation bias. And that requires either a consummate actor, or a truly terrible human being.
physt: So it's like Wifey.com without the money shots?
unyon: Oh, I think Ms Palin is doing it exactly how she should. Let the market decide.
