(Mirror.co.uk)   Friends of George Michael are worried about his well-being as he no longer likes to go-go outside of his home and when those closest to him try to reach out to him he leaves them hanging on like a yo-yo   (mirror.co.uk) divider line 36

AIDS.  I'm calling it. I have absolutely no proof, but given his past risky behavior it makes perfect sense.

But without ready access to George Michael's perfect bum, how will scientists calibrate their instruments?

I call bs on the 25 joints a day though (unless GM is buying Mexican ditch weed). Even when I used to smoke all day every day I rarely went thru 2 ounces in a month.

Maybe. He's also had some humiliating and public run-ins with the law, that frankly would make me never want to leave the house. There are lots of things that could cause a person to become a recluse. Sometimes I just hate all of humanity. It happens.

Well, that was a careless whisper on your part. Next time, keep your faith to yourself.

I'm not sure it shame over that. After he was picked up for cruising (the second time) he announced he had no intention of stopping. He's been stopped repeatedly for being drunk/high behind the wheel. Public embarrassment does not seem to be a concern of his.

Chronic disease sounds pretty likely. (You could throw Hep C/liver issues as a viable alternative)

Or it could have been a significant mental break.  That much pot would hide a lot of unresolved bipolar issues.

Sad tag is appropriate. He's a great singer and, from what I've seen, a decent person. He's been caught up in a weird world that most of us can't identify with. As much as I wish he had the self-awareness and Zen-like approach to life that Stephen Fry (one of my few idols) has, not everyone can pull it off.

I wish him a full recovery from whatever his issues are and I hope he can find happiness and fulfillment in his life. He's earned his keep.

Maybe the paparazzi has just gotten too much for him, and Ricky isn't watching his back.

No matter how his life plays out, George Michael will always be a musical god because of his performance of Somebody to Love at the Freddie Mercury memorial concert [sound starts when you click]. He arguably sings the song better than Freddie did and he has 75,000 people in the palm of his hands.

Another wacky leftist that believes his beliefs should not be applied to himself.

No he did not, he does not have the same range.

George Michael at his best was singing One More Try.   I love them both but that was a good attempt but not Freddie.

I think he's dying of AIDS & a broken heart.  Not only did Elton John dump him ... so did so much of the music appreciating public.
