Levis plans to bring their new jeans to shelves along with a new ad-campaign, featuring beautiful people relishing in sense of individuality their new jeans grant them. One commercial reads I like to think Im on my own. It now turns out I am, just like these jeans.

When I was a kid we rolled in all that instead of spraying it on! It's 2004, time to move on to something equally asinine.

This trend of anthropomorphising our clothing in such a negative way (perhaps, a negative fashion?) can only result in disaster, our shirts and pants losing the will to live and departing us for good.

i worked in landscaping, i still have allot of the denim pants i had back then. these things are so worn in. not the cheap levis either, these things came from an army/navy store.

got a few hemp jeans too, man those things were scratchy and itchy as hell. but after a year they are still 100% hole free (except acid splashes from battery acid).

i don't understand the idea of buying those things. i see a chick with a hot bod and tight ass and see 'pre worn' fades on the ass and thighs and think to myself: there's no way this chick got that by sitting on cement for 8 hours a day.

I wear ripped clown pants with blood stains when i'm in an "emotionally complex apparel" mood.

Just what we need, more pseudo-depression marketing to make the youth of today feel more depressed and opressed than they already think they are. Why don't jeans have styles like "super cool," "awesome wear," "happy day," or "la vida loca?" Something to snap these damn impressionable, common-sense lacking kids out of their dream lands of depression and over-emotion. In my day, a good pair of jeans was one you could run in, rough up, wear out, and would keep coming back for more. They got the "worn" look by actually wearing them. Imagine that, no instant gratification for your jean-style desires.

Actually, truly, my favorite shot of me and my ex is after a day of innoculating cows -- we had levis on, she had a cowboy hat on, and we were covered in cowshiat. We look great together!
