Sam the Sham & the Pharoahs time y'all:

Owoooooooo!
Who's that I see walkin' in these woods?
Why, it's Little Red Riding Hood!
Hey there Little Red Riding Hood,You sure are looking good. You're everything a big bad wolf could want.
Listen to me.
Little Red Riding Hood
I don't think little big girls should
Go walking in these spooky old woods alone.
Owoooooooo!
What big eyes you have, the kind of eyes that drive wolves mad.
So just to see that you don't get chased
I think I ought to walk with you for a ways.
What full lips you have, they're sure to lure someone bad.
So until you get to grandma's place
I think you ought to walk with me and be safe.
I'm gonna keep my sheep suit onUntil I'm sure that you've been shownThat I can be trusted walking with you alone.Owoooooooo!
Little Red Riding Hood
I'd like to hold you if I could
But you might think I'm a big bad wolf so I won't.
Owoooooooo!
What a big heart I have-the better to love you with.
Little Red Riding Hood,
Even bad wolves can be good.
I'll try to be satisfied just to walk close by your side.
Maybe you'll see things my way before we get to grandma's place.
Little Red Riding Hood
You sure are looking good.
You're everything that a big bad wolf could want.
Owoooooooo!
I mean baaaaaa!
Baaa?

Agreed.

That must be disconcerting the first few times...

I bet what was going through the wolves' minds was "Can We Go For A Ride!!!"

That is absolutely fascinating

Looks like they were following because people previously had thrown food to keep them from attacking. They weren't in hunting mode, they were acting like lost puppies.

Watched the whole video. The trailing subordinates keep peeling off and searching. They've learned people will toss food far off the trail when they show up.

In that weather, for them to pant like they are, they've learned people will give them food (because we associate panting with domesticated dogs). This must be a well traveled path, that the wolves have learned to zerg rush with cuteness (but get off the coach/sleigh/carriage, and you're instantly fair game). I love wild animals, but these guys aren't anymore. Every member of the pack, unfortunately, needs shot ASAP, before they move into a populated area and attack people.

Yes. Because they'll always associate us with food. If we shoot them with bean bags, they'll associate us with teasing good and punishing them for that.

Humans are to blame but who gets shot.

In the video comments, someone who seems familiar with the situation stated that these were young wolves who were introduced into the wild in a Polish national park. The person who cared for them before introduction was in the sleigh. Since the wolves were familiar with him, they tagged along while he was around.

Luckily, this is not a case of humans feeding wild wolves, but familiarity with a former (human) pack mate.

Because wolves attack humans on sight every time (they don't, wolves tend to be either pissed or desperate on the rare occasions they attack).

And here we have the reasons why brobiekins up there shouldn't be making decisions. He just condemned a pack to death without having the full story.
