1) The "fireball" had already occurred.
2) Can't tell his emotional disposition from the video.
3) TFA: Surprisingly the driver of the fuel truck, which seemingly took the brunt of the impact, was unscathed

because seriously injured people have never moved around seemingly normally directly after an accident.

TFA is full of useless speculation and weak-ass fireballs. Subby should feel bad.

Since Russia is the talk of the town these days, I'll post a story I posted in another thread.

I lived in Moscow for three years. I never once saw a car accident happening. I saw the end result many many times, but never one in progress. Now obviously, my more sadistic side was a little disappointed, because I had come to expect such things from Russia. However, my timing was never good enough to see one. That is, until I left. So, the day I left, I had a taxi ride from Mitino, which is the northwest extreme of Moscow proper, to Sheremetyevo Airport, which is located roughly to the north of Moscow. So it was an extremely short taxi ride compared to how they usually are in Moscow. But the gods must have been listening, because I witnessed not one, not two, but three car accidents during that ride. All rear collisions, but one was some guy driving like a douche in his Bentley, and wrecking the shiat out of the front by slamming into the back of an SUV. So that made my day. And it made my three years to be honest.

What was surprising was that the driver calmly returned to the cabin while the fire was still burning behind not quite yet exploded cistern...

In 2006 or 07 I witnessed the immediate aftermath of a tanker truck vs cardboard recycling truck on I-44.

You couldn't look at the fire it was so intense, the smoke plume was AMAZING, the unfortunate thing being it was too hot for the FDs to get anywhere near it.

They just parked on the service road and sprayed over the wreckage to keep the fire from spreading.

Tractor fuel tank rupture and flash fire.

Looks small enough to knock down with hand extinguishers.

You probably want to get started on that nowish.

That's my favorite-yet-most-perplexing Russian crash video.

That dude had to have been driving with no glass in his windshield for that quick-eject routine to have worked like it did. Is that common in Russia?

0:06 - There is a truck lying on its side off the right side of road.

This video, along with countless others, has taught me to never drive or ride in a moving vehicle in Russia.  They are, hands down, the worst drivers in the world.  Are they just incompetent?  Drunk?  Both?  Also, if they have ever invaded Western Europe I am convinced that most of their tanks would have crashed into each other and they would have caused more damage to themselves than we ever could have.

I thought that at first, too, but then I saw a noticed a guy running away, dodging explosions, towards the center divider very soon after the crash.  I think that might be him.  Not conclusive, though.

It was a long winded way to say, 3 accidents in the span of about 25 minutes, so Russia really is as farking crazy on the road as you would think. And as this is a site populated by mostly Americans, there isn't a lot of personal experience. But please, continue to be pissy about something you can easily scroll past

I replayed that a few times as well, and it looks like he runs from the vehicle that got rear-ended.  Can't say for sure, but it looks like's too far down the road to be the driver of the gas cylinder truck.

I can say that I only see one person running away, when there should be two at a minimum.

Someone stuck around for the barbecue and fireworks.
