I saw an identical turn around in Annapolis Maryland about two weeks ago.  A tractor trailer driver (longer truck) did an absolute perfect U turn in an intersection.  It blew me away, if someone who have said that truck can turn around in this tight intersection I would bet $100 it would be impossible.  Yet I saw it with my own two eyes.

I've seen this done many times in person, so meh.  Seen one drive do it with a sleeper cab and 53' trailer, and it was a woman driver.

Something tells me that he's done that once or twice.

I could do that with 8 feet between the cab and the fifth wheel.

I drive a truck with a mounted remote crane. I perform tricky maneuvres all the time and that line never gets old

Based on a few other videos I've seen I'll accept that's the best driver in India. Takes a bunch of skill to simply turn the wheel to lock.

When I got my CDL the old salt who taught the road portions did things with a truck and trailer that were mind blowing and he wasn't good enough for a truck rodeo. Not knocking this guy just saying there are some people who can drive the wheels off those things.

He should try that with a truck full of nitro glycerin on a mountain with loose gravel

They let women drive now? Scandalous!

And that's why they could conquer the Peak

I'm convinced all truck drivers are insane.

CSB - I saw a truck driver scare the shiat out of a person in a sedan and he laughed his ass off.  I was in the cab.  Yeah - they're assholes and also insane

By the fact that there are more of that same truck down in the parking area, I think he's had some practice.

Well, she did wreck her truck later and lost her job.

It's a stubby cab-over, two-axle tractor and they've set the fifth wheel is all the way back which is why he can cut that angle so tightly without interference. I doubt you could run that set-up in countries with weight regulations though, too much weight over the single rear axle of the tractor. You'd have to set the fifth wheel forward to distribute more weight to the steering axle and/or add a tandem rear axle so you don't indent the asphalt.

You mean Devil's Crest? Make sure your driveshaft is in good shape before you try that.

I drove a 40' Blue Bird school bus - seats 77 (little) passengers.  You'd be surprised how agile they are.   (And are NOT, in many ways.)

I can parallel park a school bus.  Minimum space required, excited kids notwithstanding.

I can put a Hyundai Elantra in places that it is not meant to be.
For instance, up a tree.
