(Washington Times)   The Obama administration has prosecuted 25% fewer federal gun law violations than the Bush Administration. Because this article ran in the Washington Times, that data just proves how much he hates the 2nd Amendment and wants to take your guns away   (washingtontimes.com ) divider line

Well, his Administration has deported more people too, and he's the most liberal lib to ever libed a lib and keeps illegals as house pets, so this is not exactly groundbreaking news. He's also the President who authorized the move on Bin Laden, but he's the softest President on terrorism, he's got a record breaking stock market that is quietly killing business and destroying the fabric of our economy, and likewise the softest on drug prosecutions.

The Outrage Machine needs feeding apparently, and when he fails to give them what they want, they just make it up anyway, so at this point, why the f*ck should we worry about what their latest outrage is?  The man could say that he loves apple pie, and it would be proof that he's a German spy sent among us, and if he said "football is great, and I'm going to enjoy the Superbowl this year" you'd see folks wondering why he hates soccer and a world beloved sport, and why can't he just get back to governing instead of watching sports.

His record doesn't matter. His goals don't matter. His actions don't matter. It's about narrative and spin, and facts are just "subjective" at this point, because that's what the Outrage Machine needs to survive.

I'm going to be very interested in seeing how Obama's administration is going to look a couple decades from now, to see what narratives have grabbed hold, and to see what parts of his presidency are more or less important when viewed through a historical lens.

I'm also excited to see who the next "libbiest libs to ever lib" will be. I cannot wait for the day some Fox pundit will say, "Even Obama didn't have the audacity to pull this kind of stunt on an unsuspecting nation."

Feckless/lawless - take your pick. Doesn't matter, it'll come back around again in a couple of days anyway.

Actually, I think this is the message they're trying to outrage the unwashed masses with this time:

"For a lot of people, there's more ideological cache harassing Bubba at the gun show than getting a handle on gun crime."

That's probably intended to be Lawless, but it's hard to be sure.

I suspect that his ranking by historians will be pretty close to what it is now: somewhere in the middle of the second quartile. If Obamacare ends up being a gangbuster success of a law, he could move to the very top of that quartile or the bottom of the first. I doubt he could move much higher than that.

2014-07-24 03:07:14 PM
So if I understand this right: Lawless Tyrant Obama wants to take away our guns by passing laws, only he couldn't get any laws passed, so now he's not prosecuting gun crime at a rate that even gun-loving Hero of Conservatism George Bush did, because Justice is now "risk-averse" due to fallout from Lawless Obama's Fast and Furious scandal, which clearly means Obama still wants to take our guns?

No, If anyone is the millenial Dukakis it is Kerry, who couldn't get away from the wind surfing picture and the one where he is looking goofy in the all white body suit (as well as showing to be spineless when he did not just go the podium and tell the swift boaters to go fark themselves for making a mockery of the purple star and insulting all vets injured in combat). The Homer Tax: D-Liver: robv83: hubiestubert: Well, his Administration has deported more people too, and he's the most liberal lib to ever libed a lib and keeps illegals as house pets, so this is not exactly groundbreaking news.

You realize that Obamas deportation lies have been debunked right?

And this is just more of the same B.S. from the administration. Having the audacity to go on T.V. and cry about gun violence and demanding changes that will deter future crimes. Meanwhile letting actual crimes go unprosecuted.

And he has significantly stepped up drug enforcement. Raiding more legal dispensaries than all other administrations combined. So basically everything you said is wrong.

Attempting to justify a refusal to substantiate your assertions is intellectually dishonest, and is not logically equivalent to validation of your claim.

Oh fark you, liar. "Study it out" is the cry of the small mind. farking step up and prove your point, or go back to pissing yourself in the corner. Adults are talking here.

LOL. So I'm a liar for not providing citations on accurate information? And yet the inane comments I was responding to are heralded as truth?
Small mind indeed.

Contrary to what you believe, your gut is not a source of accurate information. Interestingly it seems that your mouth is a source of unlimited fertilizer.

Fortunately I do not have to rely on my "gut". I have an internet connection.

Wow that is kinda meaningless.   If he had raided one legal dispensary he would have raided more than all the presidents previous to Bush.
