As long as they're slow zombies, they might be able to spot a few of them. Might.

You people laugh now, but who will have the last laugh when Revelations 20:5 comes true and Jesus raises the dead to life once more.

So once your on that list, not even death will set you free. Enjoy your freedom citizen.

Why is this news? I thought this was all common knowledge and had been for at least 10 years. Getting on the No Fly list just requires that someone put you on the No Fly list (or someone with the same name as you, or someone whose name is kind of close to yours). That's about the extent of the process.

The TSA wouldn't be so bad if their employees understood that their purpose is to make the people feel safer.  The problem is that too many of them honestly believe that they've been charged with ensuring the safety of air travelers.

The job is strictly for show, and has no bearing on actual safety.  That's why they gave it to you.

The idea being that someone alive could use the ID of someone dead, right? I'm more worried about keeping people who were acquitted on there.

FTFA: the system requires officials have a "reasonable suspicion" that someone could be connected to terrorist activity

I would almost be OK with this if the system enforced enormous penalties on any official, high or low, who was found to harbor unreasonable suspicions. Unfortunately, reason has been totally tossed out the window as of late, so no hope there.

I wonder how many people here are on the No-Fly list. I'd guess about 1/10 Farkers.

So apparently my pants are made of some material that is kryptonite to millimeter scanners. "Sir do you mind if we inspect your knee and inside of your right pants leg?" Wouldn't feel like a flight without them rubbing around on the side I dress.

The list of the terror was small.
It contained almost no names at all.
Yet to stalk and oppress us,
they need to address us.
Soon their list shall contain one and all.

I skip the scanner.  Cupping my balls is far more useful than anything else a TSO could possibly do in the performance of their duties, so it's basically an act of charity.

I'm not. Not because it doesn't matter but because you don't have to be accused of terrorism to be put on in the first place. It's not a list of criminals, it's a list of people the government doesn't want to allow on airplanes. From that perspective, whether they've been acquitted of something is basically irrelevant.

The problem isn't that they're leaving on people who've been acquitted. The problem is that the law literally allows them to add anyone they feel like adding in the first place.
