Gee, I wonder why they dropped you from their festival...

Keep playing those classy gigs then, and I'm sure you'll be playing the big stadiums again when...oh, that's right, you won't. Because Cricket Pavillion and the big shows actually want good publicity and returning customers...

If the set "people" includes Ted Nugent, then who would wouldn't want to not be included in that group?  This is a compliment, not an insult.

Ted Nugent's official website does not have this exact picture, but it has a ton like it--it wouldn't be out of character for him to take such a picture.

This may be the remark that finally terminates his musical career.  This is pretty blatant racism and it's hard to think he was taken out of context.  If I owned a business, I would want NOTHING to do with him whatsoever after this one, regardless of my personal opinions of him.

What puzzles me is don't many, if not most states have laws against incest between adoptive parents and children too, regardless of age. I suppose its possible that this was in a state that didn't have that, but more likely than not this was an indictable offense. IANAL.

Legal guardianship is not adoption. Nor does it necessarly terminate the parental rights of the actual parents. He was her legal guardian, not her father

It won't end his career, but it will continue to limit the gigs he's offered. There are plenty of folks who want to see him play, but they're not going to be able to book larger venues, so he's going to be playing a lot of fairs, a lot of smaller festivals, and probably sharing bills with some bands that Stormfront aficionados frequent.

Fun fact: my former boss at the Iron Horse used to book skinhead shows, despite the fact that he's Jewish. He LOVED taking their money, slicing off his piece of their gate take, and cutting himself in for a slice of the merch sales, and loved watching their faces when the Jewish GM and Jewish club manager, my hafu tochis and the black bar manager met them at the door when they came in for soundcheck. Being entirely reliant on folks for your gig on people that you hate always makes for some interesting discussions in the greenroom, and made them wonder about how security was going to treat them. Which, since we were professionals, pretty damn safe, but when the black guy and the half-Nihonjin are running your security, and you're screaming about the mongrel races, there's always that trickle down their backs that we might just turn away at the wrong moment. They couldn't complain that they discriminated against, and there were damn few venues that would take their bookings, but it was always fun to watch them try to figure out what to say when the gig was over. "Thank you" rarely entered into the discussion, but their best bookings in the Happy Valley were on our stage, and they had to choke down that it was a dirty Jew who gave them their chance to play more than a house party...

"I take it as a badge of honor that such unclean vermin are upset by me and my positive energy," Nugent hatefully said. "By all indicators, I don't think they actually qualify as people, but there has always been a lunatic fringe of hateful, rotten, dishonest people that hate happy, successful people."

We finally know who the president of the conservative A/V club is.

Ted Nugent is completely prejudiced against anyone who isn't a white "Real American" just like him and thinks he's part of a group of people who is better than everyone else on earth, but that totally doesn't make him a racist no sir.

Pearl Street in Northampton. It was a fun time. There are still some odd demonstrations and gatherings of skins and their White Power comrades, though they tend to focus on Easthampton who will grant them permits, and then take the money from the folks who come and jeer and laugh at the funny people who show up. It's rarely the reaction that they're hoping for, and they've stopped trying, but Western Mass has its mouth breathing racists nonetheless. They try it in Greenfield, they'll just get shot, same in Springfield or Holyoke, so they have to focus their efforts in towns that are small, but near the Pike so that folks will actually show up.

Calm down y'all, this article is full of sh*t. If you click the link on the article you'll see that he's referring to the people who tried to get his Oshkosh show cancelled, not native Americans.

God, I feel filthy for defending the pants shiatting coward, but the quote has been deliberately taken out of context for this article. Nugent wasn't referring to the Coeur D'Alene Tribe, he was referring to leftists that protest him. Here's more from the same interview: "These sick, sick, stoned, hygiene-challenged Michael Moore fans, they call in and complain that I'm a racist, they claim I'm a pedophile, that I dodged the draft. They call all the promoters, they call all the venues, they call all my sponsors, every day."

Ted Nugent had better be careful.  The American public is starting to have it's fill of assholes.  The reaction to Donald Sterling, and the Duck Dynasty ratings tumble are just the tip of the iceberg.  People are finally looking at each other and asking "why, exactly, should we care about these people again?"
