This just in, a fist-fight is in process in downtown Springfield. Initial reports indicate, and these are very preliminary, that one of the fighters is a giant lizard. Do we have a source on this? Uh-huh, a bunch of drunken frat boys. All right, we could use some names. "I.P Freely"... rrr!

The answer is: 5.

The question is: How many posts before someone would bring up politics in an unrelated story.

When will journalists, reporters, ESPN, CNN, etc. learn Twitter does not create a news story for you. It's good for linking to an  actual story, like one with real research and quotes and stuff, but someone regurgitating a collection of tweets is not reporting. Anyone can go online and read a bunch of tweets.

/waiting for a news report to start reading fark comments

Why do people insist on subtardmitting HuffPOS articles?

Can't you go out and find the original article they ripped off?

This should be happening a lot more often. I mean, obviously it's not hard. There should be a big Internet crusade of people tricking major news organizations into reporting on fake stuff. The bigger and more outlandish the better. Maybe we can shame them into not using Twitter as their primary source of info.
