Rednecks and yuppy elites aren't that different after all.

Yuppy restaurants have a dress code. Forget your suite-jack and tie, your hostess will lend you one.

Coming soon, redneck restaurants will have a gun policy. Forget your gun, your hostess will lend you one.

Meh, nothing new.  Nutjobs and bigots are underrepresented in the business community - which overwhelmingly skews "sane" and "reluctant to trash their reputations in a gamble for a quick buck" - so naturally they're going to flock in by the hundreds when a renegade business owner goes out of their way to cater to them.  It's so rare they get to experience such social acceptance away from the shooting range, after all.

The gun should be in red, white, and blue the symbol for freedom.

Nonsense. The Fark Gun Brigade have infromed me that Resposible Gun Owners are much better shots than any mere minion of the government, having been self-trained at the local firing range.

Other stats Ive seen claim an accuracy rating as low as 3% for police officers.

And the average gunfight has 5 feet separating the cop from the bad guy.

Local PD puts 250 rounds down range per year.....just enough to qualify under department guidelines. Ive heard that NYPD gets as many rounds and as much time as they need (the RSA looks the other way) in order to qualify or re-qualify on their weapons.

I'm nearing 15k rounds through my rifle this year alone and another 5k through my pistol.

Yeah, but they wiped the floor with the Rebel soldiers on the Tantive and Hoth. Aside from the normal plot armor, on the Death Star they were intentionally letting them get away because they had put a tracking device on the Falcon to follow it to the hidden Rebel base, and in Empire the Stormtroopers were herding him to Vader who wanted him alive. They only seem to have been bad shots when told to pull their punches. True they couldn't defeat teddy bears, but who has ever really done well against insurgents depending their home turf?

Hate to burst your bubble but that's not accurate. Denver and a few other cities, where the majority of the population resides have prohibited open carry. So it's legal for maybe 25% of the state's population at best. That doesn't really help your argument, now does it?

Yeah, I think that doesn't exactly bode well from a food standpoint.

All I know, sitting here from a couple states away and reading a few paragraphs about the place, is that it's doing a good business because a sign on the door makes a lot of people feel good. If the place fills up whether the food's good or bad, why would she pay for better stuff to feed her customers? Kudos to her for being a savvy marketer, but I guess time will tell if she's capable of thinking long-term and makes the effort to make a palatable product.

The last time a sign on a door drew me into a restaurant was back in the 90s when I went to a place on the outskirts of Montreal that promised "Servieuses Sexy". They weren't. The food was possibly the worst I've had in a restaurant. I'd never eat at this gun place, the sign on the door would make me suspect that the food's disgusting.

You do kinda miss the point.  You call a bar owner in Tennessee a redneck biatch because she allows open carry.  What do you call all the stoners in Colorado walking around with guns, Mr. Gump?
