Yah but knowing your grandfather died while you're trapped in a house full of douchebags makes for great television so, of course they told him!

I'm sure you're right. I can only imagine the commercials.

"Tomorrow on Big Brother, a race for Head of Household, Jill and Marcus get steamy in the hot tub, and a grown man cries. Who lost their grandfather? Find out at 8 o'clock, 7 O'clock central! "

I liked her when she did a song with Mika.... otherwise she sings some song that's all over the radio and has a really high pitched voice.

Because Frankie and the cop are running the house.

They know Caleb is in stalker mode therefore isn't a threat. He will vote with Frankie and the cop and if he gets out of line, threaten to send his crush home or just throw him on the block where everyone else with evict him. As long as he's not playing, why not use him for a vote and extra person in the competitions?

The women have done nothing on the show besides begging to make jury.

The young boys are busy drooling over abs, boosting each other's self esteem by telling each other how "dude, bro dude" awesome they are and getting all emo over being homesick.

Seriously, are most 20 something "men" such emo little girls no a days? Before Devin was sent home, they were all crying in the HoH room about being homesick. It was so pathetic, Frankie commented that they needed to man up because it was embarrassing. When the flamboyant gay guy pulls your man card, you've got issues.

Donnie is kind of a wild card.

/I would be embarrassed to know all that except GF loves the show and I have always been fascinated with psychology/sociology.

Cody deserves to get booted for the dumbest move...I gotta go back to  Marcellus not using Veto on himself.  Caleb...a physical player, and certifiably nutso over another contestant to the point a TRO had BETTER be in place when she leaves...can be put on the block with no hope of a challenge to remove himself...and naaa...let's get out the no-alliance player who has no power, and isn't a numbers threat because that's what Derrick told me to do...

I almost hope Caleb wins and boots Cody.  However...and I know this pops me in line for hell...I can see Frankie asking for special favors from the houseguests so he can get 'pictures' from home.  Yes, Frankie would sieze an opportunity to gain power at the expense of a family funeral - I don't see it as an impossibility at all.  I'm sure he's genuinely sad...but come on - he's also an incredibly opportunistic player.

Meanwhile...did anyone here that Caleb asked DR to buy a ring for him to give to Amber?  I can't find it on feed clips...but it's been scuttled around on some of the other boards.  Wondering if it was true.

Frankie is a scumbag.  He used this as a way to have a private eulogy, in which he plugged his Twitter and Instagram accounts.  He is using this a game tool.  Playing the game itself aside, using the death of a family member as a strategy is one of the lowest things I've ever seen someone do on TV.

Maybe Frankie is just pulling an elaborate "Jonny Fairplay" move, and Grandpa is actually alive and well and watching Jerry Springer somewhere.

I've been trying to stay away from the feeds 24/7 because that's pretty much what I watched last year, but I hope that's not true. Caleb is as bad as GinaMarie was last year, but cranked to 11.

It would be rather elaborate since ABC was involved as well as other social outlets.  What Fairplay did was genius, as was what Matt Hoffman did.  This is a real thing.

At least the object of GinaMarie's obsession was out of the house long before she ever left.  He got plenty of safe distance.  Amber is stuck with that guy...and if she leaves before jury - he's very likely to DOR himself...nothing he would do in reference to Amber would remotely surprise me at this point.

Someone tell production that voting out all the skanks in "Would Hit" order isn't going to keep the straight guys/lesbians hanging on.

Uh...

You realize the show is as much a product of creative editing and script writing and staging, as anything else right?

So the Villians are typically created on the cutting room floor more than anything. And it's not like the shows air live.

'Reality TV' is nothing more than a variant of 'Professional Wrestling'.

I'm more concerned about the people who watch it, rather than those who produce it.

However...in BB's case...there are 24/7 live feeds of the house - and yes, the CBS version airs a markedly different version of what happens on the live feeds.  CBS's version has Caleb 'wooing' Amber unsucessfully.  The live feeds show him watching her in her sleep, constantly following her, and obsessing about being alone with her outside of the cameras...it's seriously mind-bogling how the editors take what is a very creepy obsession and, on the TV end, turn it into a strong 'crush'.

(They did that last year with Aaryn the racist coont.  She was 1,000 times worse on the feeds than she ever was portrayed on the show.)

I would much prefer to have them show the real deal. He is beyond scary. If I were her I'd be talking to the producers about having him removed. The sleep watching thing is the worst. I mean, WHO DOES THAT?!

And it's like....Paranormal Activity outtakes:  Him standing over her for long periods of time - she's sleeping, with the nightvision cam going.  Ubercreepy.  (Did you catch the weird quick kiss he gave her on Monday night?  She's sleeping, and he is watching her...and it's like he can't control himself.   CBS seriously needs a psych intervention with this guy...and if those two are first to jury house: the cannot have ANY none-camera captured alone time with her.

I'm team Donnie...and, shamefully...Team Zach.  That jerky bastard is growing on me:  He at least owns that shiat.  Christine just gets too unnecesarily catty about the other women.  And she is too smart not to realize her place in the Detonator's pecking order:  Everyone else seems to.

It's kinda like 'Lord of the Flies'...for slackers.

But also an incredibly fascinating social experiement about what happens when you cut people off from all their normal contact, no social barometer other than the people they are locked up with in a cushy house with no clocks, no television, an occasional CD...and that's it.  What happens when people don't have their normal social/moral touchpoints and they are competiting against other people for half a mill.  Watching what moral barriers people cross when not kept in check by their standard means is pretty freakin entertaining.

If it weren't for Derrick, I think Donnie could sail through - the others in that house are pretty much idiotic to not understand what a huge threat he is.  He's so disarminly, genuinely nice that people spill all their secrets to him.  The current 'HBOC's' don't see him as a threat, so they tell him waaayyyy too much.  He's smart enough to understand the goldmine of information he's sitting on and doesn't say squat unless it's necessary. And, if board chatter is to count for something...hands down America's favorite player by a country mile.  (Also nice that if Donnie says something negative about someone...it's not just to be a dick.  Case in point - he and Amber were talking yesterday, and she was lamenting about Caleb's behavior towards her...and Donnie wisely said 'I think he's just not used to a girl turning him down, and he doesn't understand what it means.)  he 'gets' that saying things can come back to haunt you, and so, if that ever gets back to Caleb...hardly anything worthy of rage...but very honest.

He's a dark horse, but he's smart enough to understand  how the others are screwing up with all the alliance shifting and blabbermouthing.  But Derrick is onto what kind of decent place Donnie is sitting in, and at this point knows that anyone against Donnie in the final two loses.

Elissa misunderstood what someone was laughing about and went on this big religious rant.  Elissa constantly berated production.  Elissa constantly talked about how she didn't care about someone and was above them (as she constantly complained about them).  She felt entitled to be there.  She was basically the worst things about her sister without being a gamer.
