Move the team to Windsor.

In addition to performing during games at the BB&T Center, the Lady Panthers made hundreds of appearances at charity and community events.

NHL teams typically have less money than NFL teams... And if the NFL was only paying $125 per game to cheerleaders, while making them work tons of hours for free, what do you think the NHL was paying?

There are other worse accounts. The thing is I am sure that they are making money elsewhere off the "fame" from this kind of thing.

Good. Cheerleaders don't belong in hockey.

"In-game entertainment" should consist of an old guy playing an organ and a goal horn after goals. And that's it. Old school had it right.

People are there to watch the game, that's the entertainment.  That's what they pay money for, not all this other crap.

They were lame anyhow and I never really noticed them at the game if they weren't on the video board.

Unlike some of the more talented ice girls in the league, they didn't even clean the ice during TV timeouts.

Buh bye.

I've been to a few Panther games this past season and except for the visiting teams, the cheerleaders were the only reason people showed up.

Unlikely. I don't there are people lining up to purchase the latest "I was a professional cheerleader" tell all books. And really, what fame? Can you even name a single NFL or NHL cheerleader, off the top of your head?

Back when the Titans/Oilers first moved to Tennessee I knew a handful of their cheerleaders did private bachelor parties and escorted

"Old school" didnt have NHL hockey in Florida either. Time for this mistake to relocate to a hockey market city/state.

Any cheerleading squad that does not wear tiny miniskirts is not a real cheerleading squad. Go to the corner and think what you've done.
