I don't know. Vader's religious beliefs are really strange.

Americans wont elect a Mormon or Athiest President, so they defininitly wont elect some devoted to an ancient religion of sorcery and...ack...gasp...khcgjcfh...

Congress simply doesn't care, they are depending on the attention span of the American people for job security... and that must be the only job in existence where you can still draw a paycheck for not doing anything.

Gee Big Surprise. A fictional character is more popular than real people.

Since Star Wars fans don't get out of the Mom's basement to vote it won't really matter.

No wonder people hate Congress. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've created. The ability to destroy the confidence of the American people is insignificant when compared to the power of the force.

Vader would actually get things done, forcefully if necessary. I don't see a major problem with that.

It certainly says a lot about our current situation when the most horrendous character to grace a screen in a Star Wars film has a better approval rating than the government that in real life runs our country (into the ground).

If you somehow combined Jar-Jar Binks and Ewoks, into a creature that spoke exclusively in Anakin's line about sand (with Jar-Jar's accent, naturally), it'd be more popular than Congress.

I think Coruscant, as an entirely urban world, would be more telling. Do we know about the effects of manmade anthropogenic ... err, global climate change?

I don't even think I could sell that to a five year old. What the hell does it mean to compare the popularity of a government with the popularity of a Darth Vader? Hey, order these in terms of what's better: telephones , knee pads, ferret paw pads, the concept of a variable, crayon company bankruptcy, tobacco warning labels, Henry VIII, Kurt Vonnegut, candles shaped like sevens, specular highlight, brew moss, James Gandolfini's junior year in high school, Fark, a large collection of butterflies, and the odd numbered pages in last week's TV Guide.

One is a fictional character made up by a pretty good science fiction writer. The other is a fictional character made up by a political machine. The former is the more sympathetic character.

/// Might as well vote for Hillary, a self-made character.

Well, Senator Binks is known for just one bad piece of legislation, granting Chancellor Palpatine emergency powers, and creating a Grand Army of the Republic.

Our Congress can't even pass anything in an emergency.
