She tried to ignore the ringing, but they would just leave a message.

Satisfactory. She thinks it's a brain tumor.

She has not caught on to our plan.

We have replaced everyone except her with a robot.

Proceed with Phase 2.

This is the single most important question and the media dropped the ball again.

Whenever I get a head rush everything sounds like it has a ring modulator effect on it.

I think any word that ends in '-or' and makes an 'ehr' sounds gets the extra u treatment. Also, the element aluminum becomes aluminium, which makes more sense but nevertheless is infuriating.

Thinking walkie-talkies, yeah, that's the sprocket. Issues with latching onto the word comprehension, hence the audible intro's of focus or informative comprehension attributes for verbal communications. If you imagine the ambient noise as a sheet of paper and attempts at communication as a magnifying glass, the focus is too heavily primed for activating usage of the magnifying glass itself rather than the information lensed through it.

Ghastly: Whenever I get a head rush everything sounds like it has a ring modulator effect on it.

I had one of those earlier, I drank a six pack on an empty stomach, woke up and drove in GTA5 traffic for about 20 minutes before standing up, getting a full tinnitus bleach effect for a full ten seconds before complete normalization. That's very odd because most of my white-out conditions have been flattened to zero-static through double-reverse leap-frogger overexertion-prevention mechanisms. I blame what was likely a dehydration headache caused by my attempts to not waste a good shortcut to drunkenness. Whatever is wrong with me is likely the cure to paint huffers and hippy balloonists.

Dammit, we finally discover a Dalek sleeper agent, and they claim she's just sick. Were's that mad man in a blue box when we need him.

That doesn't take a tumor.  Just takes many shots of Jaegermeister and a 6 month dry spell.

You know, if I have to get a brain tumor I want one like that. None of this half paralysis or can't remember from one minute to the next stuff. I want the Dalek tumor.

There should be relief in sight, provided the doctor removes it with his sonic screwdriver.

Makes sense. I've long thought that a Dalek sounds a bit like Ethyl Merman having a stroke.

Honestly, I'd probably kill myself after a few weeks of nothing but Dalek speak.

Acoustic Neuromas are non-cancerous 99% of the time.  She's lucky hers was small enough to treat with stereotactic radiosurgery.  I wasn't so lucky.  Mine was big enough to press against the brain stem and mess with involuntary functions like BP, heart rhythm, swallowing, so I got to get a "bone window" cut into the back of my skull, my brain lifted out of the way so that it could be cut out.  I still have ringing.

It didn't make people sound like Daleks.  It sounded like a shiatty cellular connection, which was bad since I always used my right ear when talking on my cellphone, and was nearly unnoticeable when using both ears to hear.  It masked the condition and I found blaming my phone for not being able to understand people.
