It's a cover-up. The giant frog ate the giant duck and they're at work hiding the evidence.

How has the Chinese government STILL not learned that the quickest way to turn something silly into an international spectacle is to censor it?

I was going to say it looks nothing like that guy Zemin.  But I was only looking at his eyes.  Anyway, where's all the pollution, and people with dust masks on their faces?

I would have liked to have seen an epic battle for him too. Not just losing his head as walked down an alley. The shadow work was cool though.

I also liked Shaolin Soccer.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0286112/

Most of the educated in China use vpns to read non Chinese news sources.  The Chinese government is not worried about these people because they've got a lot to lose and have benefitted greatly by the unprecedented economic growth.  China is afraid of its poor who they routinely kick out en masse to build the growing cities or who have to pay bribes to corrupt communist party officials to get simple govt services or permits.  Those people only know what they're allowed to see

Ryker's Peninsula: Do you know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning?

While much-despised, I think that line is a brilliant send-up of cliche action movie one-liners.

You're on a first name basis with the former Gen. Secretary of China, or are you just ignorant of other cultures?

To be fair, if he said Barack we'd all know who he was referring to.
