I have never wanted to touch an artifact so badly in my life. Seriously, how often does a chance to chainsaw a shark out of the air come around?

The original Sharknado wasn't a "so bad it is good" movie. It is a crappy movie with no soul. For a movie to be "so bad it is good" usually involves a movie where the people involved actually care and are trying to make something good but fail horribly. A "so bad it is good" movie is earnest in its attempt, and it is that earnestness that makes it enjoyable. People purposefully failing is cute for a 1 minute comedy skit and then it gets old really quick.

I know. Why can't Syfy go back to doing quality science fiction, like Star Trek/Stargate/Andromeda/Battlestar Knockoff #763-BX14?

Was that really Stephanie Abrams? The Weather Channel will never be the same.

I disagree, redlettermedia Boy. I think you can make a movie that's so purposely over the top that you can laugh with it. Usually it falls flat but Sharknado worked. I don't need another one though, that's pushing it.

As for calling me "redlettermedia boy", why? I would like to know what that is supposed to mean before I assume.

That's cheating on the definition of "enough", though.  They're going out of their way to make the movies crappy.  If a movie costs fifty bucks to make, you only need like three matinee tickets these days to break even.
