Cut those guys some slack.  Do you know how hard it is to flee a crime scene while carrying $300 in nickels?

8000 casino employees expected to lose their jobs this year. AC is going to be hurting for a long time to come.

Yeah but just like in the rest of Corporate America, the minions and peons lose their jobs, so the managers can justify keeping their bonus

My better headline that was rejected: "Off the top of my head, I'd say you're looking at a Boesky, a Jim Brown, a Miss Daisy, two Jethros and a Leon Spinks, not to mention the biggest Ella Fitzgerald ever "

No, but when they fire people by the droves just so their bonus is not hurt, hell yes it is

With all the states around New Jersey having legal gambling I wonder how many more years until all the casinos are closed. Looks like the Borgota might be the last one some day.

You know, I feel like we don't use the word "bandit" much anymore. Unless Smokey is involved.

Hmm, even in their current faded and quasi-profitable state compared to once upon a time, the hell if I'd want to be the guy to knock one over.  I'd imagine there are still some italian-american enterpreneurial types that'd have you found and given deep sea swim lessons just for the insult factor.

Caesar's isn't closing - the ones closing later this summer are Trump Plaza and Showboat. Revel is in trouble, and Atlantic Club closed earlier this year.

Having just stayed this this weekend, I agree.

/Walked into the men's room on the Casino level and walked out.  Grand Central Station is less disgusting.
//Place was incredibly shabby.
/Boardwalk was like a county fair for Guidos and related species of douchebags.
