Ok - That was freaking hilarious.  BIRD IN A TREE!

2014-07-22 02:27:03 PM
He kept going off about the "No Trespassing" sign, but just about anyone should know that those signs don't apply to police.

"Hey, we were going to investigate a crime at your house, but the sign told us to stay away, so good luck with that."

On the other hand, bird in a tree.

/we had peacocks in our neighborhood for a long time, and they're much worse

Heh. There's a bird in one of my trees, so I'm getting a kick out of the replies.

I'm guessing this isn't the whole story.  Terribly unprofessional on the LEO's part, but my guess totally deserved on the homeowner and hilarious.

"He didn't conjure anything. He's been harassed for almost a month now. The man in the video is Ryan Conklin. The reason he's pissed is because on July 4th of this year, he asked three cops in his hometown of Monroe, NY why they were all sitting down and eating together at 2 am, and asked if they were on break, why they didn't stagger it out so that they weren't ALL off-duty at the same time. Keep in mind this is Independence Day, right when the bars were closing, and Mr. Conklin figured their time was better spent looking for DWI's. There is a video somewhere of the incident. At no time was he hostile or violent, yet he was arrested anyway. Since he publicized the wrongful arrest, they have continued to harass him for various bullshiat reasons like this one. I'd say that I hope he sues, but we all know that the officers wouldn't be the ones paying for it, the taxpayers of Monroe, NY would be. "

About 10 years ago I lived in a semi-rural area and someone a couple of blocks over had a couple of peacocks. Those suckers are freakin' loud.

Dunno, I assume there must be laws against Conklin's level of douchebaggery. There is a line - actually a pretty big one - between being a decent human being toward others and treating them like dirt because of their job (cops or otherwise). He clearly had issues with police before the July 4th incident.

My take: "When douchebags collide" because obviously the cops are more than happy to harass him now, too.

Police have to be there for a lawful reason... these idiot assholes OBVIOUSLY were not.  If they didn't know what a bird was, they were doped up, strung out, drunk or flat out too stupid to be out on the streets.

The guy's an ass. He's got an attitude from the moment he opens the door (thus the camera; He was SEEKING a confrontation) and he just amps it up from there. The cop deserves a nod for being polite in the face of utter douchebaggery.

Obviously, the neighbors told the cops that the guy had some loud noise-making thing in his yard, and the cops had to follow it up as a noise complaint. You think they wanted to be at Mr. Douchenozzle's house? Nope. But they had reason to believe this belligerent shiathead was the kind of person who would put a noisy device in his tree to annoy his neighbors... Gee, I wonder what would make the neighbors think THAT?

He could have been decent, had a laugh with the cops, thanked them for coming out and asked them to be mindful of the time next time they're on a call like this. Instead, he was a sarcastic, condescending, insulting piece of shiat. When he needs the cops in the future, I hope they hold back and say, "You know what? Mr. "bird in a tree" can wait a little while. He clearly doesn't need us trespassing."

At 2:30 in the farking morning, of course he's going to have an attitude.  Especially when it turns out it's more harassment from the local cops, given that this is not the first time they've farked with him (based on a post up thread).

No, he didn't have to be decent.  A cop is supposed to be intelligent enough to know when it is appropriate to wake someone up.  He is also supposed to be professional enough to not farking harass people for petty reasons.

Let me just stop you right there. They have pre-employment screenings/tests that filter out the intelligent ones. Which is basically why citizens are being bullied (legally) by the same meatheaded moronic losers that harassed people in high school.

I heard some chirping in the video. What kind of bird chirps at 2:30 in the morning? Maybe it's under a street light and confused?

You got me there.  I don't know what I was thinking.

However, I disagree with your assertion that they are bullying legally.  What they are doing is most definitely not legal.

Now, I'm not a betting man, but if I had to guess, and this may seem crazy.... I'm going out on a limb here (That may sound like a pun, but I can assure you it is NOT)...

Anyhow, don't call the men in the white coats to come get me.... this is merely a wild and crazy guess..

I haven't gone off my medication, but... I would bet that the sound in the video was none other than...

A BIRD IN A TREE!!

I was with him until he started on the no trespassing stuff, stopped watching. I was waiting for the words 'sovereign citizen' or "I pay your salary" to come out of his mouth.

On the other hand, there's a robin that nests in a tree right outside my bedroom and starts going ape-shiat about 230-3 every morning. It's annoying as fark.

2014-07-23 08:29:01 AM
the trespassing issue is valid, they had no lawful reason to be on his property.

//GED in Law real soon.

Don't you have a boot you should be licking?

Maybe...but I can't...the boot is firmly up your ass...
Obviously, from your troll...you're the type of dumbass who thinks being a tax-paying citizen gives you the right to lip off to cops.
So, of course...obviously...some cop somewhere has his boot shoved up your ass...
As these types of videos tend to detail that's exactly what happens to dumb farks like you.

This label should be put on all POV cameras.  Warning:  If you think you know the Constitution better than anyone else then this product may turn you into a douchebag and may be a danger to your well being..

Rawhead Rex:  thinks being a tax-paying citizen gives you the right to lip off to cops.

Cops aren't special (well, maybe in a Jerry's kids way).  You have the right to lip off to them as much as anyone else.  The consequences should not be any different than telling your neighbor to go fark himself.

I thought it looked too produced to be real.

Nope. Its real.

Ryan Conklin has a history with harrassing the cops. Lol
