If the house didn't take a cut, it isn't illegal in Va as far as I know.... so what's the problem here?

Ugh that movie was hard to watch and not in the it's emotional and making me have feelings sort of way. More in the, nothing in this movie is anything I want to look at or hear or think about sort of way. Great ending though, too bad maybe like 8 people manged to watch the whole thing and actually see it.

Ashy Larry, subs. It's a sucker's bet, but then again, Subby always had a soft spot for suckers. And dames with great gams.

If you run an illegal poker game, you are two degrees of separation from a guy with a gun and no skills to speak of.

Yeah, it was pretty much a well executed exercise in accomplishing nothing.

Please ban sunglasses, mp3 players, and hoodies at poker tournaments. Any future dress code should produce these kinds of results.

You shouldn't root for anyone, simply laugh at the notion that in the supposed land of the free, consenting adults exchanging money over a card game is considered criminal activity.

Pretty much. The only problem I could see is if her law firm didnt let her do this or had no knowledge of it. It could be a firing.

Not subby.  But I'm honestly confused about what I'm missing in the headline. Care to enlighten?

Perhaps it's my brain not reading it correctly, but it doesn't exactly flow.

lack of standard comedy for a fark headline possibly?  If you're seeing a flow issue, then there probably is something wrong.  I didn't see one myself.

That should be it. If they never took a cut of the money, it's just a glorified home game and should be OK by the law. Then again, this is America and you know how some people just want to meddle in people's private business.
