Great, another completely normal within safety tolerances incident, with no lasting effects to the environment or the people that live near by.

This comment sponsored by BNSF, Union Pacific, Great Northern and a Congressman near you.

CSB: There was a gigantic oil train derailment in Casselton, ND (near the border with Minnesota) last New Year's Eve. The oil caught fire and the smoke could be seen for something like 20 miles around. There are so many reasons to stop this dependence on 19th-century petroleum-based technology and accidents like these are just one of the many. Oil is literally killing us.

Since this is Scott Walker's Wisconsin...
Less government regulation of the rails
More tax-breaks for the (white) people in Waukesha county
New voter ID laws to prevent people from voting
Passing a law that makes it illegal for anyone named Mary Burke to run for office?

/Am I close?

We need to know what time they left the station and the variables in speed to work this out subby.

Quinzy: Pipelines are evil

I seriously do not understand the environmental lobby on this.

Lobby: "NO PIPELINES!"

Powers-that-be: "Ok then..... we'll have (pick on or both)
a) an endless line of tanker trucks going in a loop from Louisana to Alberta.
b) an endless tanker train going from Lousiana to Alberta"

As the folks in Lac Magantic in Quebec about trains with oil.

Rail freight is federally regulated.

And that makes my statement any less accurate how?  Walker gives no bothers about regulation!  He just knows that there needs to be less of it!

/Unless it is same-sex marriage
//and access to reproductive health for women
///then regulate the hell out of it
