I feel bad for his bike. You just know it is getting a tire shot out next stage and a silent clock.

Epic stage. Two riders stay out all day in nasty conditions. Bauer gets about 30 feet from the line before getting swallowed by the sprinters.  That's a  Vinko Bogataj moment right there.

if the rain stayed a bit longer it might have slowed the peleton down enough to give them that extra 100m

the guy spent too much time looking over his shoulder to see where they were anyway.  just pedal you're ass off, stop looking back

Yeah that was a good stage. For what ever reason I woke up way too early today and thought "oh well, I'll just watch the Tour live instead of the afternoon replay"

Should have known its a rest day. It's a Fark tradition to only have a thread on a rest day.

Yeah. I know it sounds simple from here, but he lost by 15 feet.

If the dumbass hadn't slowed down to constantly monitor the peleton he would have won.

Oh well, he'll know that till the next time, wait, this was his only chance ever, never mind.

SET UP A PERIMETER around that Kiwi cyclist so he can win a stage.

One of the talkie guys on tv said that if he kept looking over his shoulder, then he'd probably get caught.
