Come on now. Clearing centre field at Fenway from home plate is impressive as hell.

For reference, here's a write up on the record for furthest thrown baseball. The record is 445 feet set by some Canadian minor leaguer. Bradley's not that far off.

Jay Payton used to be able to do that before he hurt his elbow.  Pretty damned impressive.

Tom Emanski won't be impressed until he can put it into a trash can at home plate from the outfield.

Let me ask you this: Could he throw it to the blue seat that Ted Williams allegedly hit a home run to where he knocked a guy's hat off?

B-b-but headwind!

\plus, it's about 18 feet up there, meaning he probably threw it a good 440 feet or so.

Rob Dibble is not impressed.

So I believe to throw a ball that far he has to be throwing about 100mph.

Throwing it 400' doesn't help if it's 20 feet offline.

Call me when people start making Ellis Valentine comparisons.

Apparently you haven't seen him throw in game situations.  Deadly accurate.  If only he could hit.

Good: Jackie Bradley Jr. at home plate hitting a ball over the center field fence

Just out of curiosity, I looked up his career numbers. 4 HR in 422 at-bats. I'm guessing the "good" doesn't happen much outside of batting practice.

Was I the only one hoping that Manny would fly in from out of frame and cut it off?

Did you hear the statistics that were mentioned on the video before the throw?
