The Dr. Demento cameo was great to see.

That gave me a flashback to Peter Gabriel's old videos.  In a good way.

I think we are hitting Weird Al burnout now.

So one video left, with five tracks to choose from.  I'm hoping for My Own Eyes. I think Jackson Park Express won't get one due to the length, and I'd be a little disappointed if it's the polka medley with other great songs to do first.

My thought as well.

And if it was truly all stop motion, then that was very well done.

Everyone catch that the package of bologna in the beginign was labeled 'My Bologna'.

He's just tossing out the easter eggs left and right in his videos

I think that's all of them.

I have the whole collection of Weird Al videos on my computer.  I was rewatching some of them recently, and I had forgotten just how frequently Dr Demento showed up in Al's early videos.

There's a lot hidden in this video.

One of the posters for a Garage Sale on the corkboard where he's talking about the second hand toaster says this:

"If you are reading this you obviously have a lot of time on your hands. There is no garage sale. I just put this up so that this area of the video looks populated."

So much win.

And yes I do have some time on my hands.

It also says "Dimento was here" on the bathroom stall next to Jonah Hill, if that counts...

The page in that scene has several references to his old hits (specifically the food ones): My Bologna, I Love Rocky Road, The Rye or the Kaiser, and Spam.

My sister owns a house that was previously owned by a college friend of Jack Nicholson.   The neighbors said he used to come in a limousine.   Therefor I have eaten and pissed in the same place as Jack Nicholson.

I used to work with a guy who was a tent mate of Elvis Presley in the army.

My great aunt was married to Charles Lindbergh Sr.  She died and he remarried to produce Charles Lindbergh Jr.

Sports Song is much higher if you're a former band nerd.  Like me.  Personally since I was never a fan of the Pixies or that late 80s/early 90s alternative genre, First World Problems is still last.

The Hardware Store grand opening ad has the entire inventory part of Hardware Store. The same page also has a 2000 inch TV for sale, call Frank. And the Garage Sale is giving out free spatulas.

Southern Culture on the Skids.

An "in the style of" parody, not any particular song (but it's got "Camel Walk's" finger prints all over it).

Yup. I wanted to see them in a cameo. Particularly the bassist.

I like "Sports Song," but the video didn't add much to it. I rank "Foil" so high because it's merely okay as a song, but the video makes the mood shift work to fantastic effect.

Oh, definitely this. Haven't seen a video done in that style in a long time.

My lame claim to fame? I had my picture on the cover of the paper because I was standing over the shoulder of Gary Coleman! He was in town for some dialysis thing, and my mom is a dialysis nurse. The future California governor nominee!

My lame claim to fame...

I have this strange knack for being on airline flights with semi-famous people.  This is unique because I do not fly all that much.  I have been on flights with:

1)  Former Boston mayor, Ray Flynn - Got slightly drunk on flight.
2)  Evander Holyfield
3)  Bob Lobel - Former Boston sports reporter.
4)  Yeardley Smith
5)  Chaka Kahn and her band
6)  Katie Couric

My lame claim to fame: I'm eighth-cousin to Stephen King.

My dad has a strange knack for meeting professional athletes or their family.  It is almost at creepy proportions.  I would've thought he was making it up if I didn't have a signed football proving he had an 80's NFL player, playing softball in a league he umpired ( I can't remember who the guy was).  And we played softball against a prison team with a former NFL wide receiver playing outfield.  But it rubbed off on me long enough for me to have a late 60's Dallas practice squad player as a coworker.

/I am not making a claim to fame for these stories.
//they just happened, and I know no one cares.
///and this is the short list of the stories I personally witnessed.
////I also don't count where I've seen athletes in public, only the ones I've met.

Lame claim to fame time!  I saw the band he was mimicking (Southern Culture on the Skids) in a small venue in Calgary.  Was right at the stage and got into this weird staring contest with Rick Miller for most of a song before I couldn't handle his crazy eyed stare anymore and had to look away.  Also, Mary was completely hammered by like, the third song.

I dated a girl who claimed to be the drummer in Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" video.

Yes, she looked the part: tall, black hair, blue eyes. Also, crazy as a loon.

The closest I get to a lame claim to fame is that I went to college with the lead singer of a band you've never heard of (No More Kings, famous for the Karate Kid song "Sweep the Leg").

\oh, and with the athletes too, like Croshere, Hal Gill, God, etc.

My lame claim to fame is that I ate in the same restaurant as Pete Garrett (Midnight Oil front man, and former Aussie politician). Twice.  He apparently has family in Montreal and liked to visit as he was mostly ingognito here - as much as a 7ft tall bald guy can be!
