Listen. I know about Adam Sandler movies. They are often hard to like.

That's the understatement of the century. When is the last time Sandler made a movie that wasn't utter garbage?

Funny People, in 2009.

Also, on a tangentially related note, Peter Dinklage is apparently a time traveler like Keanu  Reeves.   Here he is in Oingo Boingo's 1981 video Little Girls.

Honestly Dinklage is going to be remembered for being like the Jackie Robinson of dwarfs in the entertainment industry. Because of his acting ability, he's being cast in roles for characters whose source material would otherwise drive people insane, like Idris Elba being a Scandinavian god. He's a one-man wrecking ball that makes seeing a dwarf in the media a normal thing, and portrays his characters as just any old regular-sized asshole with thoughts and feelings.

/dwarf probably isn't the preferred nomenclature, but if it's good enough for Tyrion, it's good enough for me

In a world with Kevin James as President, this would be the First Lady:

Seriously, this is his wife.

I am a huge movie fan, and a bit of snob.  But you know, sometimes I like me a little brainless comedy.

Grandmas Boy hit pot snobs, man childs, and software companies head on.

Grandma's Boy has the fortune to not have Sandler in it. And in looking at the other films Happy Madison has done I note with amusement that out of 34 movies made, only TWO have RT ratings over 50%. Even Grandma's Boy has an EIGHTEEN PERCENT rating. Which is criminal because the movie is better than that.

50 First Dates?  That movie was pretty solid.

Yep, and I think I would have a better time partying with Sandler and pals than Christian Bale and Daniel Day Lewis.

I'm assuming this is part of the studio's marketing campaign because I've seen this on a couple popular sites now yet I doubt any regular person would care enough to submit it.

I will go see a movie wherein Peter Dinklage is being an awesome mullet.

Wait, what? I got distracted by his awesome mullet.

If you want to see a good peter dinklage movie see anything else. See Station Agent. Or even some episodes of nip/tuck. Don't give that hack Sandler your money.

50 First Dates and The Wedding Singer were both great. I also actually enjoyed Bedtime Stories.

There's a lot of crap that he's putouts, though, I'll grant you that. And I'm like some people here, sometimes a turn-off-your-brain comedy is just what the Dr ordered, but for every Happy Gilmore, there seems to be 3 Jack and Jills.

Shiat... I forgot.

+1 Internets to Subby for CORRECTLY using the term 'mullet'. Morons today just lob it at any dude with long hair.

I think I may have invented the mullet, BTW... Sorry.

I liked this movie when it was called  Scott Pilgrim vs. the World but Adam Sandler will only deliver another shiat sandwich.

I would rather hear the death rattle of my first-born.

See the British version of Death at a Funeral. NOT the American blacksploitation version.

Peter Dinklage and Alan Tudyk both absolutely kill it.

I enjoyed 'Grown ups' for exactly what it said on the tin. But then again I can forgo my waving pretentiousness for an hour and simply enjoy a fun movie that knows what it is and delivers as such.  I'm not a particular fan of Sandler, since I can't think of any of his other movies I actually liked.

I am going to admit it...I TOTALLY have a  man-crush on Peter Dinklage.  That guy can REALLY act, AND he is super funny.  For example, check out the SNL bit where he played Drunk Uncle's cousin Peter Drunklage on weekend update...complete classic

Sandler must have thought that the cast was a little too strong so he had to the bring the quality down about ten notches by hiring the most monumentally unfunny douche pout there.

So since they taking a vacation making a movie in a expensive market, looks like they pulled money out of other areas of the budget.

What the hell did they do to Adama's uniform?
