There are mountains in England?

Well, if I remember correctly, it's not about how big it is but how it was formed

If I won the lottery (which would never happen because I don't play), I would buy a spooky European castle and play renaissance fair every day. People would say, " Don't go around there, that's where the crazy dress-up lady lives and she might try to talk to you." Good times.

I've got plenty of BO!

Looking at the pic, it seems they're trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.

I saw this for sale, the other day: http://www.castle-forsale.com/castle-for-sale-france.html  20MM EUR, IIRC

Richard the Lionheart's innards are buried there.  It sounds like a bargain -- relatively speaking to the junk in LA and Manhattan.

I knew a Threlkeld growing up - wonder if he's on thefacebook. Who knows, maybe he struck it rich and could use a summer home.

I think as Farkers we should all chip in and buy this. I think Drew Curtis Lord of the Manor of Threlkeld has a nice ring to it. Then we could all take turns visiting Drew on the hill we bought him. It would be like he has an endless supply of  court hill jesters.

Lets be honest...that would be considered a hill in the great plains, not just in California.  I've hiked up bigger mountains than that.

In America, 200 years is 'old', in Europe, 200 acres is a lot of land

I'm in if it comes with a cool medallion that will transport me to the Landover there. Just don't expect me to be a knight.

Well, I feel dumb for not knowing the Munros are all in Scotland. Thanks, though.

Lord of the Manor's not really a title. It doesn't make you a Lord, could be legally claimed by literally anyone, and has about as much meaning as calling yourself Lord of Forestview Apartments Unit C3.

A proper title can be bought in the UK for much less than $3 mil.
