No, it's just Tim Howard deflected the first attempt at posting it there.

Every Daily News link shows tfa for a hot half-second and then bounces me to a signup/ad page. At which point I say *eff you* and return to the Fark Main page.

At least *pretend* you're trying to "optimize my experience" by asking me if I want mobile or laptop site and slipping your signup request in there.

Howard is 35 years old, so I assume he's being cheeky.

Then again, Tracy McGrady just retired from baseball.

Won't he get called too often for goaltending?

he may look like a giant beast standing in front of the goal among fellow soccer players, but at 6'3" he'd likely be the smallest guy on an NBA court as often as not. And at age 35, not even worth looking into for an NBA team unless it's for publicity i guess.

Imagine Tim Howard being teammates with JR Smith. Imagine Tim Howard going postal on JR Smith for lazy defense and bad shot selection. Imagine Tim Howard only growing more enraged when JR Smith reacts initially with a jerk off motion. Imagine all the blood on the floor afterward.

Sports references in headline confuse and anger me.

Good thing you explained that.  Some people thought it was a serious idea.
