For those that do a final check in - Mah mom is taking my moneez card and picking up a cat trap on her way back from the tooth doctor. She's got to drive right past Harbor Freight and a feed store, so someone should have a cat sized trap. Mamma Hisss! is slated to get herself un-kittenable Purrsday mornin' with a 7:30 am drop off, so she must be trapped Wednesday. Then The Great Kitten Roundup of 2014 begins! They've gotten pretty big the past couple weeks, so they could give me some problems with the catchin' 'em part. Still, I will have mah verri own trap so I will eventually get them all and they are big enough they should be just fine with mamma gone for a couple of days if they stay under the propane grill or Skunk Base (the shed - skunk family moved out, btw). If I can't get them Wednesday, I plan on simply ONLY putting fuds out inside the trap until all of the kittens are in the designated Kitten Taming Area (my mom's now stripped-down-for-kitten-safety office).

When Mamma Hisss! is all bettah, she goes right back in my back yard where she will carry on in Moo Kitty Sissy Doodles' fine tradition of keeping other cats from taking up long-term residence in my yard. I'll call that a "win" any day of the week. Of course this means I have yet another cat. I can think of worse things to have though.

Thank you to my Caturday fambly for the help and support of all kinds! I really couldn't do it without you! As part of the pressure has been so kindly lifted from me I hope to be able to report in bright and early Purrsday evening with good news about the Cute Infestation.

Kitten the Brave (Bravepaw for short) was just chillin' by my foot a few moments ago when I was out there feeding them kibble. I reached down and acted as if I was going to pet him/her and s/he hissed, just like Mamma! That was the most adorable hiss EVER! ♥

The way I caught my own slutty mama kitty was by baiting but not setting my trap a couple of days moving the food further into the trap each night. The last night I set the trap with lots of yummy mackeral cat food. Voila! Good luck!
