If I saw a raptor the size of a turkey, I would start looking for stuffing and gravy.

I think birds should have to pay me reparations for the persecution of my ancestors.

What about the four you didn't see? Rushing towards pack hunters is maybe a less than sterling idea...

That scene didn't make any sense, since the internal logic of Jurassic Park is that T-Rexes can't see you if you're not moving.

If it works anything like my leopard gecko they see what's in front of them well enough even if it's not moving. They're just too stupid to figure out whether it's food or not. Sometimes they chomp it anyways, sometimes not.

Hmmm...learned something new today. I've seen herons eat fish & insects, but didn't realize they ate gophers too.

Clever girl.

/I've seen blue herons fish before but never hunt mammals.

I've been telling people with pet birds for years that birds are just flying dinosaurs that hate you.  Tell me I'm wrong.

Interesting. I've seen the local hawks and falcons eating mammals and other birds, but the egrets and herons have always stuck to the creek or river.

Firstly watch it again. Donald is moving like a panicked mofo on that toilet. Secondly in the second film I think they mention that Dr grant was wrong. Their vision isn't based on movement. It didn't eat them because it just ate Donald and wanted to play instead.

Best film ever.

I don't remember where I saw it but there was a video floating around about some park where people can feed the birds. They had ducks, geese, pelicans, etc there. So anyways one day the park people are late getting there with the food or something....so the pelican gobbles down one of the smaller birds.

Pelicans are dicks.

So dinosaurs were really colorful neat looking things that ate whatever they wanted. I'm ok with this. Let's Jurassic Park them back to life.
