It's easy to kick cancer's ass when cancer has no idea which way you are looking before you throw a punch.

My eyes have been moistened and I felt something stir where something called a "heart" is supposed to be.

No. No actually, even according to him, cancer is pretty much kicking his ass.

His "partner" is like a well-proportioned Kiera Knightley.  Nice.

I hate Stuart Scott, but I still can't back cancer in this fight. Farking cancer.

Cancer is a hated, terrible, awful thing and i hope Scott beats it, however long the odds are.

however, i have to once again tell the tale of when he officially entered the Hall Of Douche;  way back in the late 90s, Kenny mayne's infant son died after I think never leaving the hospital.  something equally (if not worse) horrible.  as Sportscenter closed that night, they did the  de rigeur, "we want to take a moment to share our sympathis with the Mayne family, who lost their young son today.  The entire ESPN family expresses our sympathies."

Scott then jumps in, with  something like, "yo, St. Peter, ring ten bells, champ comin' through."  Some completely 'too soon', inappropriate ten bells reference, but with his then-trademark street-savvy delivery.  i just thought that was just massive jackbaggery and never forgot that.

good luck stuart.

me either.  I didn't know anything about it, but when you look at his presentation, I can tell he appears to have lost alot of weight.

Cancer farking sucks, and I hope Stuart Scott goes on to live a hell of a long life.

That said, I'm not watching anything ESPY related unless it's the Jimmy V speech or Norm McDonald's monologue roast from 1998.

He's been sick off and on (mostly on) since 2006/07....has had several lengthy absences from the air over that time

I started disliking Stuart that night, I thought it was so classless. But I am pulling for him now and feel like a heel that I had such a poor reason to dislike the man. He has been fighting this shiat for a long time now and somehow keeps a good attitude.

I went through it last year and got lucky as hell it was caught early but I was a pussy compared to him.

If anyone would like to actually hear the speech, here.
