I think it's a bad idea, but my real issue is that it's not even well done. He doesn't look edgy or "next level" - he looks like a particularly hot frat boy who was stupid enough to fall asleep at a party.

See...the problem here is that gimmicks are usually short-lived.

Zombie Boy seems to be doing alright. I saw him in a few movies and tv stuff, But then again, his tats are a bit more artistic merit.
This is him with tats and him with concealer make-up.

Sgt Otter: Mikey1969: Yes, these are real tattoos on his face (and everywhere else) and not just words written on with a marker pen. Here he is proving it:

Actually, that seems more like evidence that they ARE just marker, since they mostly wipe off. Have these morons never marked themselves with a Sharpie? It doesn't wipe off immediately, there is a shadow left behind for awhile. Just like in that stupid GIF.

The gif is really poorly done, but I think it's supposed to show him starting with his tattoos covered in concealer, then he wipes it off to reveal the tattoos.  Kind of like Jack Nicholson's Joker painting fleshtone over his "real" bleached Joker face.

That at least makes the article make some sense... Yeah, I can see that. What's deal with making everything into a GIF nowadays, anyway? They used to be relatively infrequent, but now a sandwich isn't a sandwich without the great taste of Miracle Whip news story isn't a news story without some kind of farking GIF in the middle of it.

brap: I'm not going to be the guy that tells him they have already done this as a one-off with Photoshop.

He's going to shiate an ink brick when he finds out Momento wasn't a documentary.

He has pretty eyes, but any hope of him being an actual legit model has been ruined. GOOD.
I predict he'll get about a month of aggregrator site fame before becoming a meme for about 5 months and then fading into obscurity.
