Wait what?


He was apparently going to call it the United Australia Party (which was in turn the name of one of the forerunners to the main modern conservative party down here, which is called the Liberals, confused yet?) but another groupuscule had already registered something similar.  So, basically, he decided to name it after the most important thing in the world.

I'm not objecting, mind you - Clive stomping into Aussie politics has thrown the rest of the right-wingers - both the Murdoch press and the Liberal and National Parties - right the hell off.  It turns out the enemy of my enemy is farking hilarious.
