That's what I was wondering. Tiny little place.

That thief was bold as brass, though. Actually stopped for a moment and said something to the just awakened clerk before leaving.

The sign says Kebab.  Looks like a Kebab/pizza shop in the UK/Europe.  Hard to tell if those are £ or € he's taking out of the register.

Is that a basket of raw chicken under the table at room temperature?  Yummy.

Looked like it.

Thief was as sharp as a grape, too. He got nice up close and personal for the cameras.

Actually I think the sign says "Кебаб" which along with the camera being identified as "KAM03" would indicate this taking place in a Cyrillic country.

Could possibly be Russia.

Wherever it is....I'm not ordering the chicken.

I don't understand why the lady had a cash register in her kitchen or why the guy didn't take that fine cabbage that was just sitting there.

1. Gotta love the small time crook mentality. He comes in, sees the clerk asleep, and HIS FIRST THOUGHT is "rob the place right under her nose."

2. The desire to escape trips up many a crook. Had he not sped up at the end, he wouldn't have woken her up.

3. That wasn't a robbery, it was a theft (either petty or grand depending upon the amount taken). He would have had to threaten the use of violence for it to be robbery and the door would have had to be locked for it to be burglary.

The door doesn't have to be locked for it to be burglary.  Even crossing a doorless threshold can constitute burglary (in most places).  Not to mention he went into the 'employees only' section of the kebaberia to pilfer the currency.

If you go inside an enclosed space it's burglary.

Doesn't matter if the door is open.
