Though it wasn't exactly inexpensive, the Japanese style washlet in my main bathroom was one of the best purchases I've ever made. Smearing fecal matter around one's bum with sheets of paper now seems positively barbaric. The Japanese really are number one in the number two business.

/Also the heated toilet seat is really nice in the winter when dropping a steamer after being outside all day
