That's nothing.  They're also putting in a farking Chili's.

Perhaps someday nature will be done with our species and will get to try it all again.  Hopefully.

Good. A few more projects like this and Florida will collapse below sea level.

Meh. Once sea level rises, it will be under water. University of Miami was probably smart to cash in before that happened.

One time, a beautiful park was covered in asphalt and in the center was placed a giant metal vessel that anyone could do anything with for whatever reason the felt they had.
They paved paradise and put up a larking pot.

As I understand it, everything south of the Jupiter inlet is farked in the long run anyway. Worrying about conservation in Miami is like telling someone with stage 4 lung cancer not to smoke.

Yes, but now nature gets to enjoy the low, low prices at Wal-Mart.

FTA: researchers say the area they will develop is a globally imperiled ecosystem with a remarkable diversity of plant and animal life found nowhere else.

That may be true, but how many places have a Wal-Mart and a Chik-fil-A?

This is ridiculous.  I'm a twenty-eight year old man, I can eat a chicken sandwich if I want to.

It had to be Wal-Mart and Chick-Fil-A, didn't it? It couldn't have been Whole Foods and Starbucks, could it?

Reminds me of Carlin...

"Well, we stole it from the Mexicans and the Indians...but it was pretty nice when we stole it, huh?  Paradise....have you taken a good look at it recently?  It's f*ckin embarrassing....and the people think IT'S JUST DANDY"

Approximately 88 acres of the pine rockland forest was sold by the University of Miami to a Palm Beach County developer this month, the Miami Herald reported.

What a bunch of greedy farks.

That land was already public and should have remained so.

Chik-fil-a gets the headline, but not the NINE HUNDRED APARTMENTS that will also be in that complex?

Can the University of Miami also waggle their fingers at us when we sell our land to buyers they don't approve of?

He's 28 years old and he can eat a chicken sandwich. Very Impressive. Mike Fitzgibbon's son is a nuclear physicist, and my son can eat a chicken!

Why is Chik-fil-A accused of spearheading the destruction of the wetland? It takes up a very small fraction of space compared to the rest, especially 900 farking apartments!!

whether it does or not, it's still a private school and its holdings are not considered "publicly owned"

Trance750: I refuse to do business with a company that openly embraces hate and bigotry

The company doesn't and never contributed to any organization that does.

As far as I'm concerned, a CEO can do whatever he wants with his money and if I stopped buying from companies where I didn't agree with the CEO's personal choices I'd be foraging off the land.

Not subby, but Chik-fil-A has the same number of syllables as 'parking lot', so I'm guessing that's why.

At any rate, there should have been an injunction or a lawsuit brought against it, especially if they take in a sizeable amount of public dollars.

Chick-Fil-A is evil. It also tastes like shiat on a bun, and its waffle fries contain no flavor whatsoever, just a mild greasiness.
