Spiders can help eat all the scabies, bed bugs and lice and other parasites the open border illegal aliens are bringing in along with tuberculosis. Spiders can be our new friends.

Really, active TB in the USSA? Riiight. already here. I never said TB was a bug, it was a play on words a bit, but thats ok. please prove to me that any bug caught in a spider's web would not die. I think bed bugs, lice and scabies would die on a spiders web.

Just to be clear, I said the rats from the open border are causing Active TB outbreaks here. And this article shows that to be true. My Mentally Disabled Liberal Friend implied active TB was already here. Not true. Diseases not seen in decades are back from our open border.

For fark's sake, people. I don't LOVE spiders, but they are at least useful (unlike roaches, for example).

Just leave them alone. They'll eat the other creepy crawlies and for the most part will be happy to steer clear of you.

You're kind of an idiot, aren't you?

There's active TB in just about every city in the US; certainly in every prison. Were you under the impression it was eradicated? Hell, I know someone who contracted it last year.

As far as lice and scabies; I suppose if they somehow got into a spiders web, they might die; but since scabies are a skin-dwelling parasite and lice are body parasites, and spider webs are designed for trapping flying and crawling prey, I'm unclear on how lice and especially scabies would even get into the web in the first place.

Oh, and just to finish off our idiot troll:

From the CDC TB fact sheet (Executive Summary) http://www.cdc.gov/tb/statistics/reports/2012/default.htm

1. Updated case counts for each year from 1993 through 2011.
2. Case counts: 9,945 TB cases were reported to CDC from the 50 states and the District of Columbia (DC)
for 2012
, representing a 5.4% decrease from 2011 (Table 1).
• Seventeen states reported increased case counts from 2011 (Table 30).
• California, Texas, New York, and Florida accounted for 50% of the national case total (Table 31).
Asians exceeded all other racial or ethnic groups with the largest percentage of total cases (30%) (Table
2).
• Hispanics comprise the second largest racial or ethnic group (28%) (Table 2).
Blacks or African Americans born in the United States represented 37% of TB cases in U.S.-born persons
(Table 18) and accounted for 13% of the national case total.
Asians born outside the United States represented 45% of TB cases in foreign-born persons (Table19)
and accounted for 29% of the national case total.
3. Case rates: In 2012, the TB case rate declined from 3.4 to 3.2 per 100,000 persons, representing a 5.9%
decrease from 2011.
• Ten states and DC reported rates above the national average (Table 30).
• The TB case rate was 1.4 per 100,000 for U.S.-born persons and 15.9 for foreign-born persons (Table 5).
• Asians continued to have the highest case rate (18.9 per 100,000 persons) among all racial or ethnic
groups (Table 2).

But thanks for playing!

At least it makes sense. You need heat to unfreeze pipes but a spider you could just hit with a shoe and be done with it.

The best thing is to hit the spider with a flaming shoe.

Well, I bet the spider is dead.  But it brings to mind some good advice.  "Watch out, you might get what you're after.  Cool babies strange but not a stranger.  I'm an ordinary guy burning down the house"

LOL! Mouse Hunt! Thanks for the memory. I worked on an advance trailer for Mouse Hunt one weekend during a break in the film's production. We filmed at the house set on a soundstage in Hollywood (KTLA on Sunset); no cast, just featuring the house (and the mouse, added later via CGI), with no clips from the film, as none were ready yet. The house was pretty amazing: it was totally modular and could be readily dismantled in sections to allow ease of access for filming. It was also not as big as it looks on film.

One of my jobs was to add more cobwebs to the set, which is done by shooting drying strands of hot glue from a special air gun. I had a blast standing in the middle of the foyer at the base of that big, creepy staircase shooting "cobwebs" all over the place.

Damn. Hard to believe that it was 17 years ago.

I thought it was hilarious for the most part, mostly because of the exaggerated fear the guy had.

So because we already supposedly have infected people (I know you work at the CDC and you know) we should open the borders and let more in. Good choice. Im glad you're in charge.

Make sure to put that evidence on a disappearing hard drive.
