There is an app for the subby.  It's called "Anything After".

/if I didn't already have it, I would assist.

Yeah. I think I heard about that on NPR or something.

Theres a couple apps that do this already actually.

I'm the subby and Farker who runs AfterCredits.com.  I am aware there are other apps that do this, I do not use them, but from what my visitors have told me, they aren't as good or up to date as my site.  I have been asked many times.  Also, with an app I would also provide all of the other features of my site (3D/IMAX worthiness and worth sticking around for polls as well as the mega posts which have trailers, interviews, etc.).

I KNOW I can make a better, full featured app.  I just need the chance.

Too bad this link got smooshed.  I know I suck at taglines.  I was emailing Drew and he tried to help, but in the end my tagline suckiness was my undoing it seems.

How can you know if you can make a better, more full-featured app if you haven't used the existing apps?

I didn't say that I've NEVER used them.

Wouldn't it make more sense, if you're looking for $2,500 -- To have a simple comparison chart that says, 'We can provide the following data that these other applications do not?' Maybe with some green check marks or red x's. Pushing $2,500 at a guy that doesn't seem to have done $10 worth of research... I'd rather fund potato salad as a goof than this as an actual service.

That's a great idea! I will work on that tonight, thanks!

I threw together a quick comparison from what I could tell by installing the apps on my phone.  There was one that was pay only so I didn't check that one but read discriptions and looked at many screenshots to get an idea of what they had to offer.

I'll make it prettier later tonight and post a sort of infographic on the kickstarter page.

That makes a lot more sense. I'll kick in ten bucks.

So what is a "stinger"?  The after credits part?  Do they do that and have scenes that actually matter?

/don't go to many movies
//best of luck to you,  ned4spd8874

Yeah, it's those extra scenes like the ones in the Marvel films.  Some matter, some are inconsequential.

Can't people just watch the stingers on YouTube?
