In fairness, the Brit surfer paradises are in the south west, where the Atlantic conveyor/jet stream dump a whole lot of warm air and water on Europe. I mean, that's how the UK has a temperate climate in the first place.

Thurso, however?

Yeah the surfer movie I linked was in Cornwall.

Warmer weather makes the whole thing a more pleasant experience I am sure.

UK has a fairly healthy surfing community and the west and north get some damn big waves.
ok the sea isn't warm and the weather is variable so we wear wetsuits, why is this strange?
