In other news: athletes who are doing a lot of work tend to need a lot of fuel. Cripes, when I was working in a warehouse, I was eating six meals a day, and still dropping weight. And that was just running and lifting boxes for 10 hours a night, not the sort of regimen that he's putting himself through.

Probably, but who wouldn't.

A big part of his job is looking like a beast. He isn't in a league or group where it gives him an "unfair" advantage.

From reading all the stuff he's done, if think not. I think, like Arnold, he does it the old fashioned way: lots of hard work, attention to detail, and careful planning.

Course I'm biased, he's probably one of my favorite actors, I tend to like personable and goofy people.

http://abcnews.go.com/ThisWeek/Health/story?id=532456

Governor, movie star and former professional bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger admits to using steroids, but says he has no regrets.

The seven-time Mr. Olympia winner told ABC News's George Stephanopoulos that even knowing what he knows now about the performance-enhancing drugs, he would still have used them.

"I have no regrets about it," said Schwarzenegger, "because at that time, it was something new that came on the market, and we went to the doctor and did it under doctors' supervision. We were experimenting with it. It was a new thing. So you can't roll the clock back and say, 'Now I would change my mind on this.' "

Hercules looks... bleh. I like that the labors are in there, but what's with the zombie underworld army he has to defeat? Why does it have to be some world-dooming onslaught every. god. damn. time???

Oh, and Transformers 4 was HORRENDOUS.

Dawn of the Battle for the Apes of the Planet was good.

I saw The Rock in a restaurant once, my wife noticed it was him and checked online to match tattoos to what she saw to be sure. Not much of a story but its fun to see a major movie star about 10 feet away doing their own thing, Good times.

/and no we did not bother him because he was having breakfast with a lady and that's not cool.

Saw him on ESPN this morning, guy has charisma, I'll give him that. I bet he'd be a good color analyst for the NFL or any pro sports for that matter

The film itself might not have been great but the stand-out was The Rock's performance. He was damn funny in it. A real pleasant surprise.
He just has a natural charisma in the first place but put him in a really well written role, especially a comedic one, he's someone who can pull it off. Like he did in Be Cool.

His late 90's early 2000's WWE work is something of beauty. He really set a bar when it came to wrestlers talking. They could hand him the mic and he would just take over with some of the funniest most insulting stuff you would ever want to hear. I bet if they let him he could have just talked the whole show and it would have been wildly entertaining. The guy is just a born talker.

Yeah...the roids were back in the day...
Everyone does stupid shiat when they're young.
I'd hope he's not that stupid anymore.
I don't see a lot of fiber in that diet...where are the beans? The grain bread? White rice? Why not brown? No spinach?
I hope that ONE salad he has is huge.
Otherwise, he has to force a lot of bulky shiat outta that big ass of his.
Not cool.

Vash's Apprentice: That's still fresh, idiot.

67 percent with actual viewers is pretty much into "mixed" territory.  In grade school, hell, that's an "F" these days.  And from critic reviews, it is nothing you haven't seen a dozen times.

The Rock isn't TERRIBLE in the right role.  He was serviceable in that second GIJOE flick.  I personally want to see the new Hercules flick.  But seriously, if you guys think he is a good actor, and some of you include him among your FAVORITE actors, you guys really need to watch more and better films.

Basically...  call me when he makes his Total Recall, True Lies, Rocky, ect.  Because nothing he has done so far is fit to lick the boots of the action greats.

Having said that, yeah he seems like he's be a cool guy to know.

You guys really white knight the Rock.  Color me surprised.

/Jason Statham is a better actor than the Rock, and he (statham) can't act at all.
