That was an extremely well constructed lemonade stand. I can't imagine they built that, otherwise they could have just donated the money it took to build the stand. A rental stand maybe?

I'd split her proceeds.

I'm simultaneously angry that she wants nothing to do with Buffy and impressed that her life didn't turn into a total shiatshow.

Abe Vigoda's Ghost: At her peak.

Yes.

That movie made me want to give banging batshiat crazy brunettes a shot. Up until that point I only banged blondes.

Thanks, SMG.

Wolf892: Is it just me or does it seem like her career didn't go as well after she finished "Buffy" as she thought it would?

I'm not saying her career ended, just that it didn't take off the way it seemed like she thought it would.

At the end of "Buffy" the impression most got was that she was just done with it.  She didn't show up for any of the wrap parties or other events, and hadn't for a season or two prior.  She was just done with the whole thing and wanted it to be over.

I don't think she was really ready to jump back into the game.  Unfortunately she's now figuring out the hard way that her returning to TV doesn't guarantee any success; her odds are as good as anyone else since the majority realize that alot of the success of "Buffy" was Joss Whedon and proven by his ability to move on and find success.

That and by Hollywood standards she's already reached her "Best before date." If she wants to stay in the game she has to drop the "I'm SMG and I'm the star!" bit and maybe try re climbing the ladder with some decent supporting characters.

The hard part of that is that with Whedon's writing what should have been, at best, an average supporting cast, were spectacular.  It isn't that SMG wasn't great, it's that she became the main character of what turned out to be an incredible writer hitting his stride.  If she gets anything near that level of success again then it'll be like hitting the lottery.

I could see her in a supporting role.  I could see her in some role where she goes and makes references to "Buffy" now and again.  That sort of thing has been like crack to folks who watch "Castle."  Of course, "Castle" also learned to stand on its own and Fillion is very capable as an actor.

Robin Williams needed to, and did, check into "maintenance rehab".
Might have something to do with the cancellation. I didn't watch the show so I don't know if it was good or bad.

I watched the first 2-3 episodes, and was rewarded with 2 infomercials and a cast (apart from Robin
Williams) that was painfully unfunny and out of their depth.

Yeah, that Crazy Ones show was the most pathetic piece of corporate cocksucking I've ever seen.

I'd eat the corn out of her shiat.

2014-07-15 11:01:33 AM

Wolf892: How about a project where she plays herself trying to re launch her career in Hollywood, but she plays it up as though she's a real ditzy diva or something... Each season she goes out to addition for parts in movies and tv shows and at the end of the season we see her failing in some ridiculous show that gets canceled mid episode. Meanwhile she's trying to balance her home life with her husband and kids...

Play it off as a comedy/drama where she's an underdog character and maybe something like that could work.

Lisa Kudrow beat her to the punch.

It was hit or miss, depending on the set up for that week.  Some ideas they threw out there worked, others didn't.  The brunette was very hot though.

There are a lot of pics of her in a bikini from that show on a GIS.

By my calculations, she was 15 when she was on that show.

/I'm sure I'm on a list now for having looked myself.

Personally I thought she was hottest around season 1-2 of Buffy. She still had plenty of meat on her bones and some nice looking thighs. You can see how she starts to thin out partway through season 2 and on.

/never realized she's only a few months older than me.

"She was beautiful but her feet were jacked up."
"Were they?"
"Yeah... Oh and uhh I pulled the covers back and it was hammertime"
"I should have known something was up because her shoes had these bumps on them but I thought it was an old shoe or something."
"You would never think a woman that fine would have hammertime in her shoe."
