Point02GPA: I ain't see all of his movies, but the folks over at Rotten Tomatoes sure do like him.

/me...3.2 thumbs up

I know...once you get past Gilbert Grape and The Basketball Diaries, then you get into purely commercial, lighter material like Titanic, The Man in the Iron Mask, and The Quick and the Dead.  I mean, what's he really done since?

/Been meaning to see Shutter Island but haven't gotten around to it yet.

They sure had fun making him look like a playboy in the cable TV show DaVinci.

Haha. Came for a Futurama reference; leaving satisfied :)

1) Write utterly indefensible click-bait headline
2) Get lots of clicks
3) Profit

Lighten up Leo, Vincent Van Gogh only sold one painting in his lifetime.

An internetter is you.  Which only goes to show what we will stoop to at large to monetize the most inane bullsh*t imaginable.

Came for Futurama references, leaving ground up into a fine pink powder.

You might be snarking, but "The Aviator" was the first movie I saw in which I actually enjoyed DiCaprio's performance. He's done some good work.

He was a good designer with the attention span of a gnat. "Last Supper" is a wreck because he avoided using the long successful methods for fresco in favor of an idea he had. Most of his work is unfinished. He did know the right people, though, which is why he wasn't lynched. Instead he ended up in France as a friend of Francois I. That's why "Mona Lisa" is in France--it was a gift to the king.

Of course he was. We all knew he was an artist already.

bunner: GDubDub: Edison was a loser too. I mean, really, who the Fark fails to make a lightbulb 2000 times? Sheesh.

Mostly his pack on underpaid minions who did all the actual  work every time he farted out an idea.

You mean like Steve Jobs?
