And we get seven more videos to look forward to over the next week. Hooray!

This will probably end up being the best of the bunch, though.

Three years since his last studio album, "Weird Al" Yankovic has returned withMandatory Fun, which will feature parodies of Miley Cyrus, Lorde, and, of course, Iggy Azalea.

I only know who one of those people is, and not from her music.

Fortunately, I don't have to be familiar with the source material to enjoy the Weird Al version.

I have such a crush on Kristen Schaal.

I liked Weird Al a lot more back when I had a clue what he was parodying.
I'm glad I'm not the only one to come reveal my love for Kristen Schaal, but I will fight you all if I have to. Funny=sexy.

My mission this week is to watch the originals before watching Al's versions. It's good to peek in on pop culture from time to time, even if just to answer questions on  Jeopardy!

Ok, I'll say it. She's not funny. On The Daily Show I find her the most not funny.

For me, "Party In The CIA' is his best statire, becasue of the contrast of the seriousness of his lyrics and the banality of the original work.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-CG5w4YwOI

I love her voicing Loiuse Belcher on Bob's Burger.

I celebrate his entire catalog.

But Yoda will always be he masterpiece.

Followed, in no particular order by Pentiums, white and nerdy and Saga.

Of his original works Biggest ball of twine and Albuquerque are the best.

/going to spend a week at a lake in Minnesota next month and will visit the ball of twine on the way.

I still enjoy the parodies since they are usually fun in their own right. As far as I know, they might as well be original songs by Al.

The only songs that don't work for me now are the polka parodies. With those, there's really no point if you don't know the songs that are being parodied.

I agree about his whole catalog being awesome. Gotta give some love to Nature Trail to Hell since it wasn't mentioned. I was thrilled when that song started playing during the preshow of the most recent Rifftrax Live.
