(CBS Sports)   If Luis Suarez bites someone again, it may cost him millions. That's hard-ass FIFA for you-- bite an opponent four separate times, and you might get fined   (cbssports.com) divider line 22

Let's focus on more important things. FIFA™ is turning the tide in its effort to end the widespread and common practice of FIFA™-sanctioned matches being fixed!

I know because about three times during every World Cup match, they ran an ad saying so.

Not "Soccer is great exercise!" Not "Hey American kids, ask Mom and Dad for the cable package with international soccer!" Not "Buy this swanky FIFA™ merch!"

But "We're totally making headway on the whole thing where mobsters dictate the score weeks in advance."

As I've said in other threads, toddlers get banned from day care for biting fewer people than Suarez has bitten. That he's even allowed to play is ridiculous.

Which is why the Real fan in me is laughing his ass off that "squeaky clean" Barcelona insisted so doggedly on buying him. The same team that tried taking the moral high ground because they had no ads on their shirts. Now they're sponsored by Qatar.

Only in a sport like Euro-wuss lawndiving would someone be able to use his teeth as a weapon three times without one of his victims disarming him.

Hey subby, the fine would come from Barcelona lowering his salary and not from FIFA. They're even more hard-ass than you thought they were!

You'd think by now that he'd just get a damn mouth guard, especially considering the next guy who gets bit is gonna take a swing at him.

Barca actually are going to double dip this upcoming season and are adding a second sponsor on their shirts....

Not at all. Don't care much for Armoured Wankball either, unless I got a dollar or two wagered.

The funniest part is that before the WC, Suarez gave an interview to ESPN absolutely swearing that he was going to clean up his image, play the tournament without incident and lead his team to glory.

Motherfarker can't help himself.  Be done with him.

I don't get Barca.

Sell Fabregas who is 27 and in the prime of his career while playing the exact style that Barca want their midfielders to play, being from the Barca academy.
Sell Sanchez who is 25 and in the prime of his career while excelling at playing off of Messi and Neymar while not complaining about getting his touches.

Buy Rakatic who I think is 24 to replace Fabregas, but he doesn't play the same style.
Buy Suarez who is 27 and always wants the ball, not forgetting the whole biting thing suspending him from play for at least the first two months of the season.

Now they are at least $75MM in the hole and I don't think they got any better for it.

Don't forget the bribary and tax fraud that was involved in the Naymar transfer.

http://uk.reuters.com/article/2014/02/20/uk-soccer-spain-barcelona-f ra ud-idUKBREA1J19P20140220

Somehow the $30 mil paid to Naymar's parents didn't get reported due to an "oversight" and in no way was a bribe

Bermuda59: What's the difference between FIFA and Organized Crime?

Organized Crime is the parent organization for FIFA, the IOC, and FIA.

It's the amount of ones it takes to weigh one pound. They just measure their money by weight when it gets to be that much.
